Wow, in a couple of weeks Mouz went from one of the most impressive foreign teams to, let's be honest here, pretty much a low league team. Only Mana is able to deliver some results, if at all!

Good for Protosser!

Bad for mouz and hopefully bad for Morrow too.

Liquid : Totally fits the Liquid concept that they've been talking about in ''Liquid Rising''
Quantic : He could join 2 fellow countrymen in Startale's teamhouse, seems nice, but Quantic has tons of players already.
Complexity : They did lose Nada, they need a good zerg and they're planning on a nice teamhouse, except it's outside Korea.

I think Mouz should also add Krass to the lineup as that way they have more diversity and he would fit well with his profile.
With two big names being gone Mouz needs to take care though that the team doesn`t evolve into a talent-pool for bigger teams.
In the case of Morrow I`m skeptical though whether there is a team that will make him a financially viable offer. He is not really visible most of the time and currently the market is flooded with Koreans that provide better results while being cheaper. I hope he won`t face the same fate as e. g. Naama.

Krass and roof turned them down because they wouldn't salary them

Best of luck to Morrow, and I'm glad that Protosser is getting the attention that he deserves.

Now that my favourite SC2 player, Morrow isn't on Mouzsports anymore coupled with the recent loss of Thorzain – this team is falling quickly in the ranks in my eyes. I think Morrow provides the most engaging and intelligent matches in SC2 and it's always a treat to watch him play. I hope player teams see this too and that things works out for the best for Morrow.

Best of luck to both mouz and Morrow.

Think you should of delayed each post! Think it takes way to much shine of protosser joining Mouz, the fact Morrow is leaving >.< bad PR!!!

But goodbye MouzMorrow, i wonder who he will join and if he wants someone to join in Korea perhaps who knows.

Welcome MouzProtosser Hope you do well and continue your good results and bring these results to lans!

@ MetalPanda:

All three are unlikely destinations. Liquid has already 5 Zergs who are in a similar skill range. Also they seem reluctant to increase their roster and even if it would likely be a Ogs Terran like Supernova or Forgg.
Quantic and Complexity also seem to be more focussed on established Koreans or young unknown foreign talent. Morrow doesn`t fit in either category.
Edit @TidusMino: Thanks, I didn`t know that. It`s not really undertandable why they wouldn`t offer a salary as they both seem to be the best upcoming players from Germany and they always seemed to try to find another German player for the EPS etc.

We're shifting gears in our StarCraft II division, as we're signing one of the Swarm's most gifted European players, while waving goodbye to an old veteran and former Grand Champion meanwhile.
Jonne "Protosser" Sotala will join forces with mousesports, becoming the new teammate of DreamHack Summer 2012 champion MaNa. The 18-year-old StarCraft II player from Finland has made an impact at this years DreamHack Summer by beating the favored ThorZaIN aswell as MaNa. Despite his name, Protosser is actually playing Zerg in SC2, while he has been fighting for Aiur in SCBW, and will be the second Zerg in mousesports besides biGs. While he is holding no major championship belt so far, we're very happy for the opportunity to work together with Jonne and let him become of the Europe's finest Zerg players. We're positive that he is able to become a feared competitor among the StarCraft II scene.

Statement Jonne "Protosser" Sotala: "I’m really happy to join mousesports. They have a lot of very good players and I’ve always had a lot of respect for the team. I’m glad get to be part of it now. They are the first well-known team I enter and I believe they will help me to get better as a player in the future. I will do my best to show great results in the upcoming tournaments and also want to thank mousesports and its sponsors GeIL, Razer, CardCoachess, Thortech, MEDION, Intel & Sansibar for giving me this opportunity."

You can find a brief interview with Protosser at the Team Razer Facebook page.

On the other hand, we're waving goodbye to Stefan "MorroW" Andersson, who has been a part of mousesports since StarCraft II Beta, as he joined the family in March 2010. Both parties agreed not to extend to contract, so MorroW becomes a Free Agent for now. Together with MorroW, we're looking back at his IEM gamescom championship, where he became the first major StarCraft II champion, aswell as his second place at Assembly Winter 2011 and his trip to Korea for GSL, not to mention the titles he has won with the SC2 squad in team tournaments. We would like to thank Stefan for the time in mousesports, all the events and matches he has played for the franchise during his contract period.

In his entire career for mousesports there has been only a few players who worked as hard and precise as MorroW - unfortunately with no real reward. We would like to wish him the best in his future career and hope he can catch up to his performances in the past, which he's definitely still capable of.

Goodbye, Mr. Andersson.

Statement Stefan "MorroW" Andersson: "I just want to thank the team for my stay for giving me a lot of opportunities to go to diffierent tournaments around the world as well as my trip to Korea. I've made some great friends during my stay in mousesports and I hope they still give good results regardless if I'm not on the team anymore. I wish them best of luck in the future!"

mousesports StarCraft II division 2012/2013:
Grzegorz "MaNa" Komincz (P)
Dennis "HasuObs" Schneider (P)
Han Sang "biGs" Cho (Z)
Jonne "Protosser" Sotala (Z)
Gabriel "Marine" Segat (T)

The sad truth is that u does not need 1000 thousand hours to be the bast (or actually really good) at SC2, You can perform as well as anyother guy with less pratice...

A really good exemple of this happening is Stephano...he trains like a 10th of what IdrA or other Korean guy AND he can still perform really well.

The ones that win something gets some luck to win, some good decisions(with can came with a pratice, but knowing when and how to attack does not need 1000 hours of pratice, only some hours), timing(same as good decision), new B.O. (witch does not require lots of hours of training but needs some), macro and micro....

SC2 micro and macro are not that hard to learn...so if i know how to use keyboard and mouse very quick and well i can be as good as morrow that lives up to train.

IdrA said it someday and i TOTTALLY agree: "This is a bullshit I play like 10 hours a day everyday i shouldn't be losing to the kinds of him".

SC2 Macro and Micro is not that decisive...what takes more of SC2 early game is B.O. (by far), followed by a timming, followed by some lucy(spoting a scv that's going to see your expo), followed by macro and micro.

In SC2 Lategame the order changes Decision making combined with Luck>>Macro>>Micro(well not that much if you are protoss facing terran)>>B.O.(tech switch)>>Lucky(catching anemy tanks unsieged)

As u can see, factors as Luck, B.O. and decision making takes hard place to win a SC2 game. So those itens does not requires thousand hours of training...that's why morrow does not succeed.

=/

Sad Truth of SC2
=/

It seems you've pulled a lot of facts out of somewhere dark and damp. And yes you can play less than someone and beat them but doesn't mean you're better than them.

So many things you don't take into account, sc2 isn't weight lifting you're not just training one muscle, but your point is like saying if you trained as much as Lionel Messi you'd be as good as him. You have to take into account talent, a players natural ability, how they practice, who they practice with, their sleep, how much pressure they're under to get results and their motivation and desire.

And I'm pretty sure Stephano practices quite a lot, could go on but it might be lost on you.

I'd love to see morrow in liquid if they didn't already have so many zergs. Good luck to him finding a new team. Shouldn't be too hard, though, given how talented he is.
