Morrow is one of the best value picks a foreign team can make atm. He always posts solid results but has recently come short of winning high profile tournaments which lowers his price tag, there's also very few players who can compete with his dedication and low maintenance needs. My guess is he wants a Korean practice environment with foreigner presence. Quantic, TL and EG are obvious possibilities of which Quantic seems the most natural. There's also Fnatic, they announced their most recent recruit, Luvsic, a few hours ago. He also seems like the perfect training partner. If you watch his play closely he always has a ton of smart little things in his play. He's not one of those copy and follow the meta game players, which is exactly what you need if you want to be ahead of the curve.

As he has to practice each race twice as much as everyone else just to be on an even footing. Not to mention that he can't even ladder properly. It's not the same as playing two races. He still only plays 3 matchups. It's not like he has to practice for 6 matchups. Also, he has a ton of prior experience playing Terran. In the end all that matters is he feels more confident in his TvZ than his ZvZ.

I don't think it's as big of a problem as you are making it out to be. Many high level players have been able to play random very well. I'm not claiming that it's not a disadvantage of sorts, but as others pointed out, he is still only playing 3 matchups and he believes his tvz is stronger than his zvz. Obviously, no pro has stuck with random and MorroW is the only race picker that I know of, but I wouldn't be so quick to blame stuff on that choice.

It isn't three match-ups when you ladder a lot, which is what he did in for example Korea. Also, for other people who play one race, every match-up help them in their mechanics for the other match-ups, but that isn't the case for Morrow. Though it is pointless to argue about it. Just the fact that no player in the history of Brood War, Warcraft 3 or Starcraft 2 has been able to master two or more races (random) at the highest of level is enough to show how impractical it is. So unless you consider yourself way more talented than all people who have ever played RTS games, stick to one race.

In the time when Terran is UP to Zerg, it's a problem lol.(not whining)

Now he was worst player in whole mouz, so why waste money on him. And plz, dont be funny with EG, Liquid, Quantic, he isnt good enough for this teams... I'm bored of saying it all the time but: Do you even follow sc2 scene ?

Grubby won tournaments with both Human and Orc but yea its unusual and his changes were because bad race matchups in WC3. Seems sad for Morrow, not sure what to think good luck to him in the future.
