Recently, the open brackets have been more interesting as you mostly get to see the same names in pool play. I hope the coverage of the open bracket will be improved this time. As for pool play: Go Socke!

Pretty much as good a pool as Stephano could ask for. He should win against Alicia and Ganzi. Polt will be very tough and is probably a tossup, but he can win.

some good matches coming up. Looking forward to these, looks like we'll have a pretty Korean heavy group of finishers though; I have a hard time imagining Socke or Grubby winning their pools and Stephano would still have to play his absolute best to get out in 1st.

I feel like MLG is becoming more like GSL with the super powered koreans getting "seeds" an only a couple foreigners barely qualifying for one. I enjoyed it alot more when there were maybe a few koreans in group play while all the others were in brackets though that's just me :/ I would rather see more foreigners get through the polar opposite of the GSL but oh well guess that won't be happening any time soon :/

Not a single player was given a subjective seed. Every pool spot was earned through online qualifers then Arena placement.

I wasn't trying to imply it was subjective in any way so if it sounded that way I apologize ffor my misuse o words :/. All I was really trying to say is I'd like to see more foreigners get through/win is all

It's actually a wierd/different pool that I am used to see. Normally there are a bunch of Koreans and a few Americans, but now it's like even more Koreans and very few Europeans. There are actually no Americans at all in these pools. o.o
