IN his GSL interview he said he planned to win in the lategame and made no mention of Protoss being OP. Either supply a counter-point or don't bother injecting inflammatory, baseless assertions.
nope, MVP has stated that protoss is OP. not in his recent interviews but he said something along the lines of my win rate is good TvP but that's only becuase I was lucky, protoss is actually too strong

You know, weirdly enough the most positive thing I take from watching this up-and-down group is gom finally adding anti-spoiler videos to camouflage the number of games that were played in the tiebreakers. That, and finally seeing Ryung in code S again!!!

Man the whole time I was watching last night I was confused as to who that Zerg was. I just realized it was Line. Glad he made it through!
I think most people will agree Ryung doesn't have the strongest TvP in terms of pros. When looking at that 200/200 engagement, it does show an issue with late game Terran though. I think a Terran could've came out ok there if they would have kited, split better, etc. The problem is, Vines did practically nothing, except abuse splash damage and chronoboost on upgrades. I think the solution of buffing T3 units is terrible though. It will create the most stale game in the world of two players literally 1aing into their opponent. I'm fine with Protoss units being that powerful IF utilized very well, similar to how bio is.

Probably none, since Puzzle is known to play at 300+ APM, and Ryung (and all Slayers Terrans) has a historically lackluster TvP.

Sheehs, just a few months ago people had threads asking why everyone on Slayers hated MMA so much*. This is super tight-knit team that isn't afraid to rib each other in public (or each other's races).
Although MMA picking Yugioh during his sole Code S appearance is still a little weird to me.

Totally agree, I really dont think we should make terran stronger or protoss weaker, I think the issue is control, make the toss deathball require a little higher skill/apm to really use effectively, relative to the terran bio/med/ghost/viking control
Ryung used to be my favorite Slayers player, but his crying about Protoss just reminded me of how awful the LR thread for this Season of GSL and the Up/Downs have been. Oh well, he'll fall out in the Ro32 of Code S anyways. Grats to Line, loved him in the Super Tournament.

Don't take it to heart - there seems to be a bunch of Terran players around TL at the moment who'll take any excuse to fill threads with balance whining. You're right that this thread deserves better, though. If you see anyone mucking up the thread with balance rants you're probably best off just reporting it to the mods. These translation threads you provide are great, and I hate to see one ruined like this.

Look at BW Protoss. It was OP in casual bnet level, and even D-rank Iccup level, but it was actually not the case at progamer level. I might actually even say UP at progamer level.
