General Information
+ Show Spoiler +
Ministry of Win represents a brand new approach to the professional e-sports scene, being first such initiative not only in Poland – but also in central Europe and even the whole world. It is recognizing gamers as professional athletes and seeking to provide them with the best possible training and living facilities. Created by a dynamic and young team, it sets out to change the professional gaming paradigm by closely linking e-sports community to players’ pursuit of game mastery.

By inviting StarCraft 2 players from all over the world, our initiative creates a rare opportunity for synergy between players and development of their skills. The lodgings provided to the prospective house dwellers are of highest European standard. Players will live in a villa of 450 m2, built in 2011 to the best choice of materials and designs. Maximum of 12 players will live in the house at any given time, improving their skills under a watchful eye of a professional StarCraft 2 coach(es), aided by a full-time house manager as well as a cook and a cleaner.

The house is located in Warsaw, an international cultural and communications hub.

Company Overview
+ Show Spoiler +
Their team comprises of four highly skilled university graduates in the fields of business, finance, informatics and high technology innovation. United by our passion for e-sports and StarCraft 2, the team operates under legal and business supervision of an investment fund (Game Zone Ltd. + Veyron Financial Group Ltd.) which finances large portion of this enterprise. The house will serve to tap into the community of International StarCraft II fans. Poland, as one of the largest European states, shows a lot of potential in its vibrant, yet separated from global scene, fan community. The project will set out to bridge that gap. Numerous satellite events will be also taking place for which the house will be the focal point: barcraft events, league matches, game streaming, local tournaments, live cams, large enterprise yet known as StarCraft II League and many other related happenings. The force behind this initiative is our passion for the game and cordial links to the StarCraft 2 community in both Poland and Europe. Our vision is to close the divide between these two fan groups, rendering Poland highly attractive for e-sports-related investments and activities in the future.

Some swags for the house :D

Out of all the awesomeness in this place, I think the "two dedicated coaches" just might be the best part. I certainly hope we see some good results.

I'm just waiting for MTV to come out with a reality show on professional gamers in a house like this
There are two kinds of people in this world: people who say there are two kinds of people in the world and people who know the first group of people are full of shit.

Looks totally awesome!!

I just hope players can be motivated and disciplined enough to focus on their training, not just living the good life in such a nicely equipped house. But I guess that's why the coaches are there :D

I really hope this takes off in the Euro scene, would be really disappointed to have the house close its doors and other teams be discouraged from trying.

EDIT: Finished watching the video, loved the interior by the way, I have a much more simplistic/minimalist sense of style, however I feel you may want to reconsider making it a SC2-only house. For the most obvious reason being that it will be hard to occupy all of those bedrooms using only local SC2 pros (or pros to be), so offering a place to train for DoTA2, LoL, Counter Strike, etc. players would give much more opportunity to support this kind of investment.

Yea but the problem is, that Dota2, lol and cs are team games, so whole teams would need to agree to live in this house, kinda hard if u ask me. But it would be a great place for bootcamping before important tournaments (for team games) i imagine.

Hey guys, this looks awesome! the only thing I'd ask, is do you have a minimum stay period and minimum 'skill' level? I understand that if weaker players enter the house you don't want to waste pro's time, but it looks like you potentially might have a lot of space.

Thanks!

Exactly dude. I would be super super interested in taking a month of work before I started my masters, because this all inclusive is cheaper than my monthly rent without bills! I'm only low masters, but would be awesome.

I guess the main thing is that they don't want the 'pro's' time taken up with scrubs, which is 100% cool, but if they don't have 14 people in there then its a pretty good way to get some revenue.

Good luck either way, I've sent an e-mail off so hopefully the reply will be positive

Wow so cheap rent! O.o Snute was probably paying 3-4 times that while living in Norway.
A game where the first thing you do is scout with a “worker”. Does that make any sense? Who scouts with a “worker”? That’s like sending out the janitor to perform recon, what general would do that? Retarded game.

OK so the cost of living calculation is how much a person would have to pay to stay there?
