The pros just want fans to think they've bern practicing for only a month or two to give them hope (although, they've got a decent chance of making it big) Dang realized i had no proof to back it up... Well then its a theory then ![]() Um, this is rubbish. What's true is that for some period of time last year (after the OSL and before Proleague started again), most of the BW teams played some SC2. Different teams played different amounts. Flash mentions making Masters in 4-5 days. They did this because nobody knew if Kespa would announce the next league to be SC2 or not at the time. However, once it was clear it would be BW, at least for the first half, they all went back to BW only training. Maybe some of the lower ranked players might have been allowed to fool around with SC2 now and then, but you can bet that the big hitters of each team (such as Flash) would have been training only BW. So guys like Flash really have only been playing SC2 now properly for at most a month or maybe two. And pretty soon someone like Flash will have to also practice BW at the same time.

Well then its a theory then ![]() Source? BW team / coaching staff control and monitor what games they are playing and most of them did not start practicing BW till after playoffs which ended in late march, KT started especially late (not till after the finals). You can read the interviews and sources.

You were flat out lying, there seriously is no way around this. Nobody has the mental capacity to know all the key strokes, mechanics of the game, how the game is supposed to be played and all that within 1 day. Let alone get into Masters in a day. I can understand ex-broodwar players getting into masters in 1 day due to similiarites but no-rts experience.... yea right.

I don't have a driver license but I participated in the F1 race last year and came 3rd. It's not that hard. There is no elitism in sports, anyone can do it so what's the big fuss?

I myself was bored with my life as a computer programmer, so I decided to go play football with Fortuna Düsseldorf. I never played before, but after just a year we're in the top league in Germany. It's nothing special: Those nets are so much bigger than the ball, it's almost hard not to score goals.

I can understand ex-broodwar players getting into masters in 1 day due to similiarites but no-rts experience.... yea right. Well he might have exaggerated this a bit (certainly considering no-one can be seeded in masters, Diamond is the best league you can reach after your placement matches on a new account) but there really is nothing "unbelievable" about someone with no RTS knowledge making it into Masters within the first month. Just as much as you should never underestimate human stupidity, you shouldn't underestimate it's capacities either. Some people can just be gifted at something and with the right set of mind understand all the mechanics of the game pretty easily. I sense some kind of jealousy in your post .... like "I can't do it therefore you can't (otherwise it would mean I'm not as good as you which would make sense since I don't know you but HELLLL we're on the internet, I'm just as good as anyone)" AHHH ego ... what a funny thing :D
