Yes...because apparently money is only evil for the ppl that don't have/receive it. A lot of ppl don't have/receive money.... so why should others have/receive it then? /sarcasmoff

As swede I'm super proud of Thorzain and I do hope EG as a team does well for the remainder of 2012. Cant wait for Anaheim!

So yes, all mouz players (all smart enough SC2 players without higher education in general) should continue with education instead of playing SC2. But ultimately it is their choice and they are free to do stupid things and pursue whatever they want. Thus I am not arguing from rational advisor standpoint, because I am not responsible for them. The argument I was making was to point out that people saying that we should praise EG for making ThorZain economically well off are missing the fact that him going to school would make him economically even better off in the long term. To summarize, I was not saying what he should do. I was saying that there is no reason to praise/not hate EG for the money, as if we actually cared about ThorZain being well off we should encourage him to quit SC2. But people do not care purely about him being well off. People want him to play SC2 first and having a lot of money second. I agree that the rational choice between school and sc2 is rather easy, however the part about education being your best bet is not really that easy either. If you start working when you are 16-18 like most people, and aren't a complete jackass, by the time you are 25 you have not only made a lot of money(and many times that of a student during this time), you have no debt to pay, which students do for a good few years to come, people generally get done with their student loans around the time you'd want to start a family of your own, but you also have 7-9 years document workplace experience in whatever career you chose to pursue. Education is more for your own academic benefit and goal, there is absolutely nothing to gain financially by studying for 7-9 years that you can't get by working during this time, people with ambitions and drive make it good in this world regardless if they study or work. I'm not saying one is better than the other, I'm saying if you have it in you to make it big then it doesn't really matter. I personally know rich families where nobody has an education other than "highschool", I'm also 25 years old, have 0 debts, make more than 98% of the swedish population and I haven't set a foot inside school since I was 16 , and I'm the boss of people with masters degrees from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology in my field. With that said, regardless if Thorzain invests his incredible ambitions, passion, and drive into starcraft 2,studying, or working, I'm sure he will do great, as I am equally sure you shouldn't be giving people absolute advice regarding life choices. Present the options and make a case for what you think instead!
