The SC2 players are doing what they love and they don't really "care" about the money so long as they can find a living in it somehow. Ask anyone who has taken a higher degree in any of the more esoteric or less popular areas such as history and philosophy if they would like to go to business school because it's more financially viable. These are people who love what they do, and they are having a chance at making a living doing so, and helping the growth of the whole field into something truly sustainable. I have the utmost respect for anyone who has a passion and chooses to follow that passion instead of just "going to school" like everyone else, and that's from a guy who's writing his master's thesis in computer science at the moment. Bah, what i really wanted to say was, Congratz Thorzain! PS. nobody can predict the future, statistics aren't worth anything compared to having a passion. | ||

Everytime i think, OK they are the rivals of my team they go and do something like "Lets recruit your favorite foreigner Protoss" or "Lets team up with your favorite Korean team"... And now Thorzain? Well played EG, truly an Evil Genius! | ||

Thorzain is a great player, but I believe he would struggle in Korea, in the past 4 months he has dropped a lot of games to Koreans, but he did beat Polt, whose currently a Code B player. Huk is a good as well, but hes not focused on starcraft. Idra and Demuslim arent even close to being in the top tier level in Korea, Idra hasn't been doing well in the past 12 months. Demuslim is capable of Code B but not Code A. So in reality, I can only see JYP, and Thorzain being in Code A, not plenty enough for GSTL. | ||
