I had always thought Thorzain would stick with mouz, it kinda sucks for them. Other teams need to get working on making money!

Also, a chinstrap on him would be hilarious. Too bad for mouz, but on the other hand they already had him for quite a while, so they don't go with empty hands, gonna be hard for them to find another terran of that calibre tho.

It's really classy for players to be getting a lower salary/travel/benefits for the sake of your team fandom. Players move around because it's beneficial to themselves and also forces the teams to treat them well.

At least there's others such as Complexity and Quantic, who try to develop the foreign scene. What? You're saying a deal like this doesn't develop the foreign scene? EG obviously offered Thorzain a good deal and he accepted it. He can now travel to more events and show his talent in different tournaments more easily without worrying about other things. He can train in the EG house and go to Slayers house for training. These things overall, help Thorzain develop as a player, and make the foreign scene stronger. The amount of hate EG gets is really childish and stupid. Naturally, he'll be earning ab igger salary now, which is nice for him. However, he was able to travel to Korea to train with Slayers or to the US to compete at MLG before. And why would he want to train in the US when he can train in Stockholm? EG simply chose not to invest in developing players at all. It's not like they're buying some big names and sponsoring some new talent; all they are doing is buying big names. The announcement states that he is going to be in Korea indefinitely. He himself also stated in his own section that he was considering quitting because mouz couldn't endorse that kind of travel on a regular basis. It's not about endorsement, it's about money. And while it's caricatural, there is such a thing as "Evil Money" in SC2 not that it means EG is evil for spending it but they certainly have bigger pocket than most teams in the foreign scene.

That seems to be their mentality. Eventually they'll have to start winning stuff, right? Right? Waiting on those W's boys.

With PuMa as the Korean forefront for Terran for Evil Geniuses, they now pick-up a favourite of the foreigners since TSL 3: ThorZaIN to both add some personality to the team as well as recuperate the reputation of foreigners across the board. I don't really understand this part. ThorZaIN seems like a nice guy but I certainly wouldn't say he adds personality to the team. That said, he's an amazing player and a nice humble guy (or appears to be in interviews etc). Really solid pick by EG.
