Neither GM line has never been exact as GM promotions are dynamic --> promotion border changes. All other leagues have static borders. For example the currently shown gm line is a subjective mixing point for master & gm players during last season. On May 08 2013 20:25 dw.Justify wrote: I got not promoted to gm with 1630 MMR an opponent of me had 900 points and 1700 mmr got no promotion to GM on europe. But most players that had a bit more points (most 920 +) got promotion to gm, so i guess the line was / is around 1700. Interesting. Thought you had no good game for a while (mem reader would increase amount of 'good games' a lot). Indeed the small amount of data suggests indeed that for EU it was near 1700. For US little less than 1700. Of course the border may rapidly increase when more people are promoted.

Perhaps its just a custom game... Read original post and download a new memory scanner. It will be published later with a new version of the tool, but you get it faster by downloading it manually. Edit: And a new version of the tool is released at earliest Thursday evening EU time. But it had one potential new bug that may delay release.

If the MMR plugin directory is not there, this bug does not occur. I've been seeing this for a week or so - can it be an MMR-plugin issue? Please let me know if you would like more information in order to debug.

See change notes from original post: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=334561#1 The HotS GM lines were also updated. Top GM lines are based on S12 end data and GM promotion lines based on starting values when GM opened for S13. Please note that neither are exact. It seems that the low border to get in GM was little less than 1700 for both EU & NA.

Edit: You know what, it must be my home internet somehow not having a route to your server. Downloaded fine over 4G on my phone. Weird.

During last few weeks there has been routing problems from NA. Reason for this is unknown. Maybe some DNS problems with some US ISP... Didn't see any mention of it in the first post unless I missed something. Also meh, seems like some of my opponents are playing unranked which means my MMR can't be found? Just had 3 games against people who should have no bonus pool and none were good ![]()

The MMR tool normally downloads the latest DB file automatically. But if you cannot reach the web server, then the tool cannot download it. The DB file contains e.g. the latest league offsets, promotion borders, season start time (actually bonus pool start time that may differ from actual season start), etc. The file is human readable so anyone can check what it contains.

(The one good game came right before the 2.0.8 patch, so I haven't gotten any good games since the update) It is normal if you are in the capping zone of some non-master division. Leagues are so small that almost bottom half the league MMR range falls into this zone. And as matchmaker primarily pairs you with opponents from your league, you only seldom get non-capped opponents from the lower league.

Can't check your profile as don't know your ID. And if you have not noticed the gm line was updated yesterday to 1690, which is close to values from where people started getting in when GM opened (exact values cannot be determined as don't have enough data, and the border may have risen quite quickly after the first got in. US starting value was little less than 1700 and EU seemed to be around 1700). Last seasons value (1550) was quite accurate subjective mixing point of master and gm players for end of S12. I believe you referenced it. Edit: Manually browsed user graphs for all ~2600 characters who have used MMR tool for this season. Characters over current GM line were usually in GM or had not played (won 1v1 game) when GM opened. But at the moment not too many GM level players use the tool. Thus most of the GM MMRs are calculated from those player's games (MMR values for their opponents).

Have you considered changing webhosts? The plug-in basically doesn't work for a great number of people in NA due to this issue.
