Slayers were having a public tourny/practice compare that to a football/basketball team having a public event and you have some guy there swearing and using vulgar language? you bet he can be fined up to $238.00 per offence you get a bad mood police officer and you said 5 offending words... sad times for you. Can't really hate on her for doing this. He insulted her and she's taking action against it. Would this type of situation be handled differently in the United States? Without a doubt, but again this is in S.Korea so more power to you. | ||

yes of course. i would say "just ignore those dumb internet trolls. or troll them back if you like, they will think its cool and probably shut up. you have a ban button anyway.". i even said something like this to a family member yesterday. she was a bit pissy about an irl person who she thought was cocky and annoying . i said "you just need to throw it back a bit. learn to banter. its no big deal" or what should i do, freak the fuck out and have a breakdown, cradling my loved-one and cocking my rifle? its the INTERNET ffs. ban, squelch, block, dont read, scroll by, and god damn grow a pair and realise not everyone is thinking exactly the same way as you or your tiny specific and self-righteous culture guy0 : lol at the trolls guy1 : ignore the trolls guy2 : ban the trolls, request invest./ip bans from admin guy3 : censor swearing guy4 : get offended like hell, break down, sue them seriously? | ||

It's not an American perspective; it's the perspective of an immature child who's never felt any true sense of loss or encountered authentic harassment or abuse. Like it or not, Jessica has been under a microscope ever since she married Boxer, and even then, netizens were delving deep into her personal life (stuff that isn't any of their business) to explain why she wasn't fit for Boxer. She has every reason to be wary of people who repeatedly harass her. Also, yeah, laws should be made to allow people who are being berated by other people for no good reason to pay damages if it can be demonstrated to a court of law that authentic mental and/or physical negative consequences have resulted. If your abnormal pestering of me directly causes me to undergo a nervous breakdown due to, say, stress, then I have every fucking right to sue you for screwing with my life. I'm gonna go out on a limb her and assume you've never taken even an elementary psych course, but I suggest you do so, lest you think that people simply choose to be anxious or offended by things. If that were the case, why in the holy mother of fuck would anyone choose to be in tears because of something? Why not choose to be joyous? | ||
