I understood the concepts of the pressure of economy in TvZ, the upgrade-battle in TvP, Marine/Tank trades in TvT. The result was: enjoying every match of Starcraft II, since i understood was going on and could work on my specific mistakes i made in each game. In contrast to that i am completely in the dark in the expansion. I have been playing SC2 since launch on and off, and seriously for the last two years but seem to have hit a plateau. I know the game well but can't seem to put it all together and stop making so many mistakes. I watch the replays and can see all these problems in my play but can't seem to correct them. Hey guys my name is Andrew (GDI) and I'm Master player since WoL. I'm 26 and I mostly play Random (yes master random) however my strongest races are (1) Terran (2) Zerg (3) Protoss - in that order. I will gladly coach low leaguers for free in exchange that I get to stream it =)! Not to worry I literally have no viewers and I'm just doing this for fun. My approach to coaching is to help teach the mind set of the game as well as mechanics. Remember that coaching is accelerating a player to a high level faster then they can themselves. My goals for myself is to become more articulate about the game and convey ideas more coherently. Description: South African national working in Saudi Arabia as a National Operations Manager for a specialized cleaning company working in the oil and gas sector as well as some commercial. Married, no kids, wife is beautiful and loves playing Tekken, she is an accountant. Kids are my 2 dogs, Tank (Rottweiler) and Diesel (God only knows). I have never been a gamer, heavy jock actually starting kickboxing and Rugby from 5 years old. Obviously you should all know Rugby is extremely competitive in my South Africa. I went on to doing mma after living in America for 2007 to go train in Brazilian jujitsu. Came back to SA to start my semi pro Rugby career. 3 Month later cracked my back and also received my 7th concussion resulting in my physical sport life to come to an abrupt end... Started power lifting, not as a sport, but just for fun. Went well, and then work just got in the way. 2010 a school friend of mine introduced me to my first game... sc2 wol... I was inlove. Played on both my main account (15k games) and smurff (6k games). Loved team games more though. When I got to master in teams, I could not hack it with the big guys as my 1v1 knowledge was too little. Thus I started 1v1 and made it to top 8 dia over 2 seasons. I did this again the next season. And 3 month before hots came out, I ordered the collectors edition... And then I had to travel for work. I could not play all of 2013. March 2014 I played one half season and had to come to Saudi Arabia for work. 3 months here I did not work. Went back home for holiday for 3 weeks and came back 10 days ago with my pc. I have a lot of times on some days and most nights, but I am tooo competitive to have a bad win loss ratio, and the only one who's fault it is is my own for not knowing enough. So now u know the just of ME :D I need help really badly, I dont know what to do in hots, I got to dia from bronze in both wol and hots over the course of 3 days. All i did for the most part is Trap's 3g bo. But now in plat it seems to be hitting a rock... After finding a coach I noticed how I improved extremely fast. After getting to high gold in WoL I had to break because of my exams. After HotS came out I got back into high gold and then had to stop again. Now, I'm back, played 2 games, won them both and got back into gold but now I hit a wall and I feel like I need a coach to get more improvement. I'm mainly looking for a friendly coach that can look at my replays and send me tips and points to improve on. Brief description about you: I'm from Belgium, I'm 19 and I speak Dutch and English. Played both Terran and Protoss on high gold level but I like terran more. Time free to learn: Every day until uni starts. Range of players willing to coach: Im willing to coach all leagues but I do require a certain level of commitment if i am to use my free time coaching you. The abselute minimum requirement is that you must play atleast 30+ ladder games weekly and have done so the past 3 weeks when you contact me. On top of that as we practice you will from time to time get assignments or maps to practice, which I will also expect you to put time into. Time you're free to coach: I am free most days, but this will of course vary due to personal commitments. Brief description about you: I've played SC2 since WoL beta, and played BW for +7 years before that. During coaching I tend to focus on the underlying concepts of strategy rather than timings and builds. Such as a cake recipe wont make you a master chef, neither do i think having a build order without understanding why it works will benefit you in the long run. Brief description about you: I feel stuck in top gold :/. I've been playing many plats, dia and sometimes masters. I've gotten to the point in this game where I really want to improve and am willing to put time/effort into doing so. Brief description: I'm a low/mid Masters Zerg player who is an okay player however my game knowledge feels very lackluster. Trying to play reactive can be somewhat hard for me especially in ZvT and my ZvZ and ZvP wouldn't mind work either. I pick up on things very quickly and am willing to commit lots of time into getting better. | ||
