This kind of stuff is a MAJOR setback. You guys think that its nothing but its a huge blow. When sundance is out there talking to ESPN about broadcasting sc2 and you got 22 year olds like this numbskull saying such mean spirited things then it just proves the stereotype. Many people look at gamers that sit there and watch other gamers as "losers" and whatnot and this just proves their point. This kind of stuff HAS TO STOP. GROW UP! this controversy isnt nearly widespread enough to actually spread outside the clsoe community of heavy redditers, and the TLers who jsut learned about it will also immediately see his aplogy and forget about it I really enjoyed this line (not trolling) "From the community, forgetting is what I dream of, forgiveness is what I hope for, but understanding is what I need." I think this statement and the punishment is more than enough and I really hope this doesn't happen any more and I also hope it doesn't ruin this guy's reputation permanently because the internet has a pretty long memory. as much as id lvoe to see him bounce and immediately start casting a big tournament i still cant get over he hasnt admitted to lieing and apologized about that too, it makes me wonder about what his personality is really like, makes me think that, as my mom would say it, sorry he got caught not sorry he offended anyone | ||

though I think the community should be offering an apology to you... if you were truly being raciest and using that term in a raciest manner against the black community then you deserve this but as far as I know you aren't. It was a poor choice of curse words. THATS IT. shame on this community in attacking eg's sponsors over this sad sad sad day. I wish you the best of luck in the future and I will support the things you do(as long as you keep doing them well.) . as perhaps take some anger mgt courses or something Lastly fuck you reddit, | ||

For me, you're a really good caster, and people will forgive and forget, go back to what got you noticed in the place, good casting and good playing. Good statement on the issue, hopefully this will be a lesson for others, and hopefully you will bounce back. | ||

I don't think your use of the word makes you a racist. However, in the U.S., one can be not-a-racist and still engage in a racist gesture. We haven't achieved the color-blind society that Obama pined for in his State of the Union address. And until we do, we are all at risk of engaging in racist behavior even if we are not racist. | ||

The other screens are months old. The most recent one could entirely possibly actually have been someone other than orb saying it. | ||

Any informed member of the community and espeicially those in charge at EG should be informed of this or should at least do some research before bringing someone onto the payroll who may have a shady history. This is a lesson in E-Sports Human Resources. | ||
