I find it absolutely pathetic that people find the N word offensive when its part of the online community to begin with. Nobody gets pissed off and starts chatting "Ooh f you, you" mick, yank, wetback, or other derogatory terms consistantly.. Ooh noo, it's the N word. And suddenly every african american flips shit over it. WELCOME TO THE INTERNET. This should be obvious, but there are people at the other end receiving all that vitriol and hate personally directed towards them. It's a really poor way to behave towards another human.

Seeing this kind of behavior coming back and biting someone in the ass like that is really sweet. Sure, when you lose due to stupid shit you rage. Hit your desk, swear at your monitor, do whatever. But writing insults to some unknown guy somewhere in the world who just whooped your ass? You sir, are a moron. that's pretty much how i feel, and those who defended orb might think its not a very serious offense, but why do you do it in the first place? and to someone you dont even know? stop being inconsiderate and grow up. good riddance for EG imo

If people like you would stop seeing it as racism and bigotism, then te words would lose those meaings. You are seriously, the only ones who think they are either racists or homophobic. your an idiot. if no one was a racist, using nigger in general conversation would be acceptable. however, since there are lots of uneducated inbred who are racist against at least one group, if you say it, the assumption that is liekly to be made is that you are racist. bot only will this immediately cause offense to some people, it will also encourage people who ARE racist to think its okay to say it. so it doent make you a racist to say it, but if you influence anyone in anyway, its best to be careful with what you say, because misunderstandings can happen. also,if you use nigger as a go to insult, its proof that you are on some level racist

I feel this mess is caused by the community because i can't really believe and i don't think anyone believes Orb is a racist and prejudice person, these comments reflect on his imaturity and chilish behaviour if what.. never racism! It's sad and alarming that everytime someone feels cheatead in anyway they trye and force personalities, players or teams against the wall by pressuring their sponsors, pressuring "public" opinion with threads in TL and reddit and by spamming stuff in the social media, even when a team is yet to make a statment about the incident and asked for some time to solve it. I'm sad about this community because they forced Orb to unemployment and probably out of this industry for some comments that were meant to "hurt" someone in private and not a attack against a particular race. Anyone that gets offender by it is in my eyes even more racist. Stupid situation with a even worse outcome imo.. You are managing to kick people that do stuff in our community because of small and stupid mistakes and in the meanwhile others are tolerated with much worse "events".. GG hope you are proud of it because i see way worse attitudes by professional sports players, politics, actors, musicians and public figuras and they never get haxed like this, i'm talking about: Guns, fights, drug abuse, Drinking and driving, racism, cheating on husbands/wifes, stealing, dealing, lying, murder, etc.. and people never ever get banned for life like guys are in the eSport community..

The process of a word changing it's meaning is amelioration/pejoration, and if you observe a great deal of American youth, nigger and faggot is definitely going through amelioration (or pejoration, depending on how you see it) South Park has an episode that does a fantastic job of highlighting how the younger generations view words like faggot.

Considering how idra is, something tells me that they didn't value your spot much in the first place, and just used this as an excuse. Good luck getting somewhere that appreciates you, hope you still have your NASL gig.

Same reason hate crime legislation is an incredibly stupid thing. When people make such a big deal about race, you only greater bigger racial divides. People are so wrong in their concept of races and racial equality. Races are different.PERIOD. Is somebody going to argue that a chinese person is exactly the same as a person from iceland in culture, language, food etc? Really? Race has to do with culture and therefore people should regard those differences as something special, something that distinguishes them from other cultures without any kind of judgement based on quality or hierarchy, openly welcoming any kind of new culture. Racism starts when you take the differences and start to make fun of them in a stereotypical way. E.g. the term "nigger" is a common ethnic slur, and suggests that its target is extremely unsophisticated. If you take a look at the ethymology of the term and the history behind it things start to look grim suddenly. In short (does not state my pov) "dumb black people from africa who are only good for mechanical labor as slaves". Of course language changes over time and recent influences like the rise in popularity in black music during the late 80's and 90's has lead to an increasing and inflationary usage of the term. Does it make the term less racist? No, definitely not. It is one thing if some black person calls his (black) friend that as a friendly way of pinpricking. But when non-black people do that it just gives of this totally different meaning. (yeah, just try it out. Call your black friend a "nigger" in a friendly way and post the results here). If your level of eloquence only allows for such words to use while venting, then expanding your lexis would be a desirable path to walk down.

Keep up the good casting, and it's amazing how quickly the negative will be forgotten if you keep up your good content. Thank you for taking the time to apologize to the community, we do appreciate it.

I've been working 3 years in the labour law department of a lawyer office. My law practitioner sense is deep in the red at the moment. You do not have to not mark my word. All I'm saying is you could, and in my opinion should, seek legal advice.

Sure he could do that, but after that who would want to employ him if there is even the slightest threat of a lawsuit if something controversial happens.

As for the last point, if you admittedly have multiple smurfs you play on, what on earth would ever make you think to give out access to the account that is associated with you on a professional level? To anyone, not even considering somebody who would potentially use insults eerily similar to ones you used yourself in the past. That is just asking for trouble.
