We've had Root, LG, VT, sixjax, Reign. because I dont think they take it seriously enough... in Europe we have it to but less cases, NaVi (Very established team) disbanded

The benefit being if you're in a pro-house (EG/RGN), you have your rent/food/travel to tournaments covered, 3 figures is more than enough to live on with all that covered.

Team Evil Geniuses currently has ELEVEN sponsors. Naturally, EG should have more sponsors considering it is one of the older teams and its rosters span multiple platforms. However, one must ponder how they have garnered so much support over the years. Other veteran teams such as SK and Complexity don't nearly have the sponsor support to match EG's, and yet EG still continues to gain more and more sponsors at an unparalleled rate. It is now more evident than ever that these teams are here to compete. And not just for the highest prize purse at MLG. Teams are competing for sponsorship dollars, and it is a race to find them as quickly as possible. Currently, EG has it down pat. They are a machine when it comes to gaining sponsor support. It is up to new teams to figure out what exactly has made EG so successful. One sponsor just isn't going to cut it. Teams must learn to build their brands into a well oiled machine that can not only support their players, but their livelihood as a business as well.

How many events did ReIGN players go to? Any outside the states? There was next to no budget for travel. And i think they have to pay for their own food. Yeah you can live, but everything you do starts to become extremely expensive. It's not the easy life everybody believes. Why do you think they won't release how much players are earning.
