I can't wait for this to hit EU. There are actually no maps that I hate on the list. I'll probably veto Metal just out of boredom and Tal'Darim because I'm sick of PvP on there since the metagame shifted to Nexus first every game.

Hint: In ZvT lately i tend to favor double evo upgrades mass ling infestor into ultra ling infestor, sometimes broodlords. I just dont like the weakness of mutas in a 1:1 brute force battle, and i hate the lack of mobility of freakin broodlords. In ZvP, most of the time i favor muta plays with static defense expand all over the place mid game into a huge tech switch into lots of broodlords, sometimes ultra lings. In ZvZ; i make units and expand. lulz

KC is pretty good, actually. The thirds and fourths aren't towards the opponent base; it's reasonable to defend and/or attack them. Good distance between mains as well. I'll be vetoing ST again and Shakuras for the first time. I think I'll leave it at two but I might veto Metal or Entombed if either becomes too annoying, or in the case of Metal too trite.

Expansion is really hard to wall off, making FFE really difficult. Lot of open space too for zerg surrounds too.

I'm not sure about vetos for this season, I'd say taldarim since pvp on it is just a waste of time, but then again it's my best map in pvt and pvz... Might block meta/shattered just for the sake of them getting old though. Also NA down, according to sc2 s6 should start 1 hour from now on NA :D

I thought about vetoing shattered but, even though I sigh when I get it as zerg, I actually have a pretty good win rate there. ZvZ I just do a roach/ling all in and on that small map it works great, and ZvP and ZvT either they all in and I defend with spines and queens/banelings respectively, or they try and FE and I just kill them with lings.

I think as a protoss I think will veto metalopolis ,shatered and taldarim for now, havent played on korhal tho. Taldarim is just because of the silly PvP, but my PvT and PvZ is good there :/

I hit my head on the desk reading it. Sorry that a race can't dislike a map, and because there are more zergs on a site to dislike a map they deserve to be bashed? Well done thinking Shattered Temple is awesome and being a 'minority' race then, but your opinion doesn't mean any more. Edit: above gives great reasoning for why Zergs don't like it too.

Zergs are forced to have special builds on shattered temple (and to some extent Tal'Darim) because "playing standard" barely works on those maps because of the rocks. In the current metagame, zerg needs to be able to take a third really early against some tactics, and unless the opponent forces another response, zergs might need to take a third without having any units out even if it isn't all that early. Forcing destruction of rocks make those strategies unviable, while the T and P aren't stopped from playing like they always do.
