Me too, believe me. 2 hours until we go live. Getting a bit nervous now. Technical difficulties are my biggest fear. Everything is well prepared though so let's hope I didn't jinx it.

Great idea. I'll see if I can have that up and ready for the show tomorrow. If not, I'll certainly put up mp3 recordings for the following shows.
May i ask questions in this thread? To Kennigit, if there was one feature you could implement on this website, what would it be? To Kas, his opinion on new recruit Violet? ie how is he in training etc?

Yes! Please ask questions in this thread! You will also have the chance to ask questions live during the show but the more questions collected ahead of time, the better!
Both questions will make it into the show. Do you want a name to go with the question or do you want me to refer to you as "exia33 from Teamliquid.net"?
Finally, thanks for your contribution, really good questions!
New layout for the show will be presented tomorrow. We will quickly talk to the guy who made it. He's a regular contributor to the community (InsidiA).
If you have any questions for tomorrow's quest Kennigit, please post them here.
Hope you succeed, a show like this must be hard to get off the ground; i.e contacting big names like Nestea/MC and then getting translators and stuff must be really hard. Also, even getting people to take your show seriously must be hard.
I concur, it's a great concept, you put a lot of effort in and I really hope you succeed, shows like this are very interesting, but it'll take time for people to notice you. Don't give up, you're appreciated!

So far I haven't had problems with contacting people. It requires a lot of work, dedication and professionalism as well as being able to deal with rejection.
I am not sure what you mean about being taken seriously but I agree that it is not easy to get exposure. While the VOD's generally reach a huge audience on Youtube, the live show is still not established in people's minds. Do I worry about it a lot? No! I keep producing good content and I am convinced that quality content will be appreciated.
Let me know if you have any questions for the upcomings guests (Empire.Kas and/or David Ting).

Thank you! I truly believe the content coming out of this is extremely valuable. That should lead to being noticed but you never know. The internet is a cruel place my friend

Jojo
What I mean by being taken seriously is like, if I made a show called "The SC2 Fun Gang" and contacted a pro gamer they'd be like, "Is this just some random guy making a bad show that it's worth putting my name to?"

Alright. I understand much better now. You are absolutely right. Of course, the bigger your name the easier it is to get people in the business. That is one of the reasons why I keep producing content. It increases the credibility immensely.

Thanks for your support (you know that I really appreciate it). It has always been reassuring! I had the chance to interview Aleksey Krupnyk (WhiteRa) and Kevin Riley (qxc) a while back. It wasn't part of the live show but they are up on the Youtube channel.
Going live in two hours with IGN Pro League (IPL) General Manager for eSports/VP of Research and Development David Ting. Last chance to get some questions in (eg. about IPL 4 in Las Vegas, co-operation with GOM.TV, monetization models etc.).

Cheers Dan
Hey Dan, Kas will be on tomorrow out of the normal schedule. It will also be an hour early compared to the normal schedule. There is a show tonight though with David Ting from IPL (normal schedule).
I tuned in to watch live today. Really enjoyed the interview with David, though I'd wish it had been a little longer! Damn those hard working eSports figures. Also saw the Kennigit interview last week, which I liked a lot as well.
Looking forward to future episodes. Keep up the good work!
I was just watching Kas's Stream a few minutes ago. I'll tune in, I think it's great how you've evolved your show over the short time it's been up. Keep doing what you're doing man,

Thank you! UPDATE: The interview has been postponed to tomorrow! It will go live at the time that was scheduled today!

The episodes are usually a bit longer but he is a really busy man. The write-up of that interview will be later tonight
Go watch, it's rare to see extensive 1 on 1 interviews mit pro players.
Hm, that's a bit unfortunate with his mic, I can imagine it is pretty hard for you to concentrate.
Really interesting so far, certainly deserves much more viewers than the 12 you have at the moment. The show has a long way to go yet in terms of promotion.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. The microphone issues were unfortunate but we tried unplugging and it didn't work. About promoting this. I am not sure how to get the word out there to be honest. It's quite hard to gain attention I think. Hm... if you have ideas, let me know! Always appreciated.

Hey, sorry for the delay with the VOD's. I had quite a busy week. Both VOD's (IPL General Manager David Ting and Empire.Kas) will go up tomorrow! Sorry again.

Thank you exia! Excellent question! I really appreciate the questions you post in here. They're always really good!

Haha, I don't think that'll happen too soon. Remember, this Monday my guest will be Smix. If you have any questions for her, please post them here. In the meantime listen to this.
Questions: Where did the nick Smix come from and how do you pronounce it? How come you translate so fluently, did you have to train hard, what is your language background: born in bilingual family etc,.? What is your most embarrassing translating screw up? Who is your favorite pro-gamer of all time? And why! I'm a complete musical snobtard, yet your singing sounds pretty good, have you got any musical training? What is your musical background ?

Great questions! I have a feeling this will be a great interview.
Less than 2 hours to go until the interview with Smix. Last chance to get questions in before the show. You can submit questions live in twitch.tv chat during the show too.
Q for Smix (Credit to jaaaasper for asking me to blow him, and for letting me steal his question);
In general, what is it like being a girl in the extremely male-dominated world of Starcraft/Gaming in general?
How do you cope with the consequences (negative and/or positive) of being a public female figure in the world of starcraft? (there may be some overlap between these two questions)
Either way you should probably be happy that you're part of one of the more civilized online gaming communities

Thanks a lot for stopping by and I recognize your name. You have submitted a question on reddit and in the chat right? Thanks a lot for that!
Next week's guest will be confirmed soon. Stay tuned.
GOGOGO we need more people like you willing to report news from the battlefront! Ill try to get you some people for interviewing and ill send them through PMs. Cant wait for the next one(s)
I am very happy to welcome Travis "IronManSC" Rinker to the show this Monday. He is one of the dedicated mapmakers who shape our experience of StarCraft II. His most successful map is one that all of us know - Ohana. Travis is also a host of the live show Mappers (link here) that focuses on map creation and design.
I am very delighted to have someone on the show who is so deeply involved in creating a great gaming experience on the highest level.
Use the opportunity and ask questions for IronManSC here!
I was actually wondering how into the graphics/aesthetics side of things map creators get. I understand it's relatively important, but how much so? Do they go for strictly balanced maps before anything else?
I've personally wanted to get into the map making scene a little bit, but on the graphics side. I can't stand Max, so I've been waiting for a Maya plugin, which hasn't happened. I'd love to hear more about the creation of doodads, or tilesets or anything that the mapmaking scene has needed or wanted that has been particularly difficult.

Interesting question. I'll ask it for sure. Thanks for your input and thanks for the nice words!

Haha Thanks for being on the show today! It was a lot of fun and a really insightful interview. The mapper's perspective is a perspective we don't often get to see.
Hello, watched my first episode of the show today. My first insight into the map making world, really appreciate you giving them a spotlight, great points through out the interview. I shall check back for future episodes.

Thanks a lot! It really was my first insight into the map making world too. I found it extremely interesting and right now I am actually taking my first baby steps in the editor. I am realizing ledge by ledge that I will probably never become a map maker.
I have so much respect for them though! The amount of work that goes into a map is mind-boggling and you never know whether or not it will become a competitive map.

and good damn her voice is so clear and nice I feel bad for not spotting this song in the List of songs about StarCraft and thus not including in my recent blog, shit.
