TOP and Inca really disappeared after their finals appearance and I can't really think of another notable oGs player right now besides ForGG and Nada (mainly for popularity though.) Theres no doubt that MC was their star player so this loss sucks for them. The good news is that they are still one of the most popular teams in Korea, they have forGG and Inca is playing well again. Supernova is now thier best player. He regularly stays in code S has a high ELO and beats top players a lot.

In any case, they've still got Inca, the best metagamer in the Starcraft 2 history. Perhaps MC wanted to be with his girlfriend more, on top of whatever salary SK offered him. Another thing is, if MC doesn't get as much money as he can get now, I think once SC BW A-team players switch, MC will have low chance, may be none at all, to win any big prize. I think those days are close.

As said above, MC, heart of a Champion. Does he have it in him to continue to perform, yes. Will SK need to get serious and produce a teamhouse, and a good environment for MC eventually to FURTHER his game, definitely yes. Just like people doubt Kobe cause of his age, never fucking doubt the heart of a champion. Lebron is way more physically gifted, but as everyone can see, doesn't have the capacity to take it all the way, maybe eventually but not yet. Kobe is all about work ethic, if MC has anything like the mentality of a Kobe/MJ, he will handle business. But we don't know for sure without more inside knowledge, and of course we don't have the media coverage of traditional sports. so we just don't friggin know. GL to mc, gl to sk, gl to ogs.

None of the big name switches have done poorly since switching. Hero seems to have gotten better (or simply more exposure), Zenio went from code A to code S (although this is a small sample size), PuMa won IEM, placed 2nd at Dreamhack winter behind Hero, won NASL, even Violet is still making noise. Ofcousre the MC situation is more unique and there are still a lot of questions left to be answered but I dont think your example was a good one.

Yeah because I'm sure all of the OGs players would turn down a game with MC or all of the entire pro Starcraft league in general. I have never heard of a case of players from team A thanking players from team B by helping them practice to beat a player. Just because you don't live in a team house doesn't mean you lose all of your connection to the Starcraft community. He isn't going to lose any practice partners because of his departure from OGs, to think so is cynical and coming from a small minded vindictive attitude. edit: As for the people praising inca for his "metagame". It's more like him banging his head off of the wall hoping that dts are going to work. + Show Spoiler + He's already been demoted to code a and he will probably fall off of the map If you're concerned about the GSTL the Liquid/OGs contract is still in play, so Hero will be the Ace Protoss, definitely not Inca.
