Well to add on, people can express their opinions on the poll without fear of being attacked by other people. Apparently, majority likes khaldor so whats your beef?

First you personally attack the casters than you say it's not a personal attack? wtf? This is meant to be a thread where people can give contructive criticism to help Khaldor improve his casting not some dumb rant on who GomTV hire and saying that all the code A casters are bad.

From GSL casters you are in the top 4 in my opinion. Only flaw I can think of is your accent, just because when I watch english streams I would like to hear "perfect" english. Anyway keep up the good work!

Maybe I shouldn't have posted it because I kind of figured out I'd get responses like that though. Had to rant somewhere other than the mailbox over at gomtv.
Meh never mind what I said, I guess this isn't the topic for it.
Only constructive criticism I can give you is this: work on the accent. You really need to work on sounding like a native English speaker. Maybe this will improve if you only talk to English-speaking people and while in Korea, I guess it should improve.

Hi Khaldor!
I feel you're synegery with Wolf is great, but I dislike how harsh you can be to the players at times if they slip a little. I dont enjoy the "he's really horrible" wording and so on as an intro if a player is a bit off in a matchup (they're still s class...).
That being said, you've improved a tonn since i first saw your casts (atleast the english ones, your germans didnt cater too much to me.. )

Stop being an elitist jerk their accent is fine Most people understand them fine. You dont have to sound native english speaker to cast a starcraft game.

Khaldor, yours and Wolf's cast today was the most entertaining and fun to watch cast in a long time. I highly appreciate your enthusiasm. Keep going the good work. (Oder anders: Sauber gemacht!)

I must say i'd never paid much attention to you as a caster before GSL, (primarily because every time I went to watch you, you were casting in German) but now you're easily in my top 5 favourite casters. You're very naturally funny and charismatic but it never undermines your casting.
Any problems in your casting, (small errors in English, occasional bumps in flow with other casters) will be ironed out with experience. One thing I do really like about your casting is that you're not afraid to contest what your co commentator is saying. I imagine some people don't like this, but I think it makes the cast sound more like a discussion. Furthermore, if your co commentator is wrong, the error should be pointed out in some way.
Overall, I'm looking forward to more of your casting next year.

I really like your casting. To me, you have a very good mix of understanding of the game, making educated guesses about what may happen, without going overboard with speculating. Also, I think you most often correctly identify the turning points of the game - which is a big deal to me because it ruins my opinion of many casters when they say 'here the game was won/lost' when it's clearly incorrect.
Keep up the good work.
ps: Unlike some previous casters with an accent, I have no trouble understanding you at all. But that may be because I am also European, so I might be used to hearing a similar accent.

I don't much like the Code A casting for its analysis, nor do I think they make the games seem particularly interesting, but I LOVE how Khaldor sounds when he gets excited. When sick moves happen, Khaldor has the most priceless inflection--it's pretty fucking hilarious, I would love to there live. Also, his conversations with Wolf are pretty great sometimes, but Wolf is just a funny guy in general it seems.

You may say whatever you want, even if it's not in tune with the TL hive mind. At my first job I was told a complaint is actually a compliment, for it gives one the chance to improve. If customers (e.g. watchers/listeners) bother to comment, at least they care, if they don't, they'll just walk away and you find yourself wondering why.

Manner yo! Apparently you disagree, but you might want to express it in a somewhat more mannered way.

Love your casting even before Gom, I think that the knowledge of Euro scene is EXTREMELY important since the rest of casters are so NA centric. Keep up the good work

I don't like his casting too much, but man this guys cats more games than ANY other caster around. He stays up all night to cast some european tournament like 3 times a week or something....gotta appreciate that, even if you don't like his casting-style.

Hey Khaldor. I think you are pretty good overall, but I would say your main flaw is you really overdo the yelling. Yelling and being excited is good, but the problem is you do it with seemingly random situations instead of just important ones. My suggestion is to try and be more reserved and save the yelling or raising your voice for truly important situations.

I know but I was overly harsh to good-willed people and that doesn't really work in a community where average and sub-par performances are easily forgiven because 'they support esports' even though they are paid for their work by (to some extent) the season passes costumers buy. Ok, /sarcasm.
It just doesn't do any good. Even if I actually give constructive crisicism, i.e. try to tone down the accent, I get called elitist prick for no reason by probably a very young person so what's the use. 'Accent is no issue because it's a game of Starcraft' lol what kind of argument is that. I shouldn't even waste time on that actually haha. If you're gonna be an English-speaking caster you should try to work on ironing out the accent because it distracts a lot and it's downright annoying. At least it is to me and I consider myself pretty normal when it comes to pretty much all subjects, so there must be more people that think the same. Obviously everyone understands Khaldor just fine because his English is fine. It's the German accent he needs to drop to improve his casting-voice.

Hi Khaldor, it's very nice that you are openly looking for criticism through this thread. Personally I wasn't very fond of your casting due to your slightly off english, however recently i'm enjoying it more. I think you've improved by being more relaxed and easy going during the casts, and your casting has become more fluent.
I hope you continue to improve, your game understanding definitely gives you the potential to be excellent.

Khaldor needs to work on his game sense, says a lot of obvious things wrong which can get very annoying.
Decent play by play and voice imo, nowhere near the level of the other popular casters but it's alright.

Having a accent is not something that -needs- to be dropped in order to cast in english for a big audience. There are plenty of people that enjoy "accent english" (I have no idea how to properly phrase that ><) more then native english, which by the way also comes in lots of accents. Just because you consider yourself "normal" and think your opinion is the same as the majority doesn't actually make it so and makes for a pretty flawed arguement. There are always things a caster can work on and Khaldor still has a long road ahead of him sharpening his craft. "Having a german accent" however is open for debate on being a good thing for shaping his identity & setting him apart from other casters (we don't want a completely homogenous caster squad doing everything right? :<).
