Uhhhh... Sometimes you miss things on the minimap and make assumptions/guesses that are way off and are later proven to be as far off as possible. Be a little more knowledgeable about the game, pay attention to the minimap more (so you can catch as much of the action as possible), and you'll be solid. Just PLEASE don't end up like people like CatZPajamas and TotalBiscuit who spew out nothing but wind. Even Husky knows a LITTLE about the game. People like Day[9] and Tastetosis because they bring both tons of energy and knowledge to the table. Though it's been said that Day[9] sort of makes it a one man show because he's too energetic and knowledgeable. But it's still better than people who know next to nothing about the game and talk fast because if that's what we wanted, the caster might as well keep screaming "stuff is dying and units are blowing up all over the screen" all day long. We as the viewers can already see that for ourselves. Unless you're casting over a radio (in which case I totally understand, though I think they're a bit outdated), we already see what's going on and want insight as to why it's happening since only 2% of players are actually in Master's League and above (fewer if you account for the cross server smurfs) and can talk even remotely competently about what's going on.

You definitely have potential to be a great caster. So just keep working hard at it and you'll get there.

I really like your enthusiasm, it doesn't seem forced at all. Also you're doing really well correcting the random bs moletrap and doa pretend to analyse, to fill time. Keep it up!

Also, I believe a caster should at least be master's league. It will really complement your enthusiasm in casting.

Edit: There should be another vote: Good and has to improve

The fact that you made this thread puts you above many others in my mind. Still, your casting is damn good, the casters I don't like all have annoying tendencies, and I haven't seen any in your casting yet

I think the only reason people criticize casters so much is because no duo has the same chemistry as Tastosis, everybody else it seems like they're just 2 solo casters grouped together so a lot of insights are repeated among the duo. I'm not saying you should be Tastosis. You should be Wolfdor, come up with your own chemistry with Wolf and you guys will rule the galaxy!

if any of this offends you I'm deeply sorry. I'm not an expert, nor am I looking for people to criticize, I'm just a fan

I don't know if this has been posted before (only looked at the last couple of pages) but the only thing that i don't like about your casting is your use of "that" when it should be "this" like "I can't see how Bomber can come back in that game".
I have no idea why it bothers me so much, it's just a silly thing but i can't help to get a little bit annoyed every time, especially since your english is really good.

...To be honest it actually annoyes me more then a little bit, i just feel like an idiot for saying, since really it shouldn't matter.

Other then that; Keep up the awesome work!!

but i would like to see a caster who shows the army value of the players from time to time

its so a uselfull tool just show the army value before a big fight happens you could predict who win

I actually freaking hated Khaldor at the very start, but with time he have improved alot and I started to enjoy Wolf + Khaldor.

Why I didnt like you at start Khaldor was simply during the Blizzard Cup. To be honest you were not good there at the very start you had a two or three days which were awful. What I enjoy hearing by Khaldor are the things we dont usually see or hear, things that can come out of a player perspective when you see a build and you know this will fail or work and what could be done to prevent something horrible in the game to happen etc. You are good when it comes to those kind of small things. Wolf do mention those things too and it makes it fun to listen to cuz then you got a conversation going on bouncing ideas and comments back and forward.

In other words, think in a player perspective more than a commentator perspective, it makes it much more interessting to listen to. Gotta sound silly but it's actually true, you become better commentators by doing this, being a player rather than a commentator watching the game. lol

Overall, great casting, I like it very much,

One thing that's a little annoying sometimes: When a player starts falling back (even if only a little or just temporarily or seemingly), you sometimes start over-implying a downwards spiral in an overemphasizing voice.

Example: Player A pushes, but doesn't do exeptional damage. Sometimes, you tend to fall in a mode of saying: "Now A is beeeehind in SCVs, B just macrooos up, A doesn't have aaaany tech, he cannot do thiiiis, he'll absolutely crush him, iiiiif...". That's also true when two armies clash and for a second it looks like one player wins.

However, of couse I do like casters stating the state of a match without creating artificial suspense (e.g., "Player A still can come back if he now created 50 supply out of nothing"...), that's perfectly fine, you just tend to push it a little to much in a somewhat annoying voice.

I really like your casting, especially when you cast with wolf. I can't really comment on it, it's good and with more experience it will improve and it will be even better.

But please. Please please please tell wolf to say "the only thing he's got going for him" a bit less. The context is good, but he really needs to mix it up with something that means the same and sounds different!

2 things that are kinda getting on my nerves good sir. 1. You do this thing where you talk really fast and the emphasize like 3-5 words at the end of the sentence. 2. You drag on sentences for ever. For example you say like the zerg is loooooosing drones, and he neeeeeds to do soemthing about it and hes pulling his army back but is it going to be enough? Thats tiresome to listen to. Otherwise, youre doing a fine job.

I really like the casting, quite a bit more analytical than other casters (IMO) and you seem to use a wider range of vocabulary than many of the 'purely english' casters.

Keep it up, I was skeptical at first, but you are a great caster.

He seems like a really cool and nice guy, but sometimes he says this with such confidence/arrogance that I personally feel he doesn't have the right to say in such a manner, especially when saying something very subjective or sometimes even straight up wrong.
His co-casters will generally not correct him though, because at that point it would feel like arguing, contradicting or insulting each other.
By no means do I think he is a terrible caster, but the way he talks sometimes doesn't bode too well with me and right now he is my least favorite GOM caster.

And just to clarify, it's not that other casters are always right and never make mistakes, it's just the way Khaldor behaves is not appealing to me. Which is kind of odd, because at the same time I feel like he would be really cool guy to hang out with, this is somewhat of a conflicting opinion of him.

The players are doing a thousand things at once, everything can't be perfect and there's no need to make a player seem worse than he is.

So he shouldn't point out micro mistakes?

Sounds like a dumb thing to say.

Target firing, splitting and army positioning are very important so I'm glad those mistakes get pointed out.
