I like how me being swedish automatically makes my argument invalid. The fact is that Idra left and it's not like GOM saved his spot. If someone quits a tournament and is away for 5 or 6 consecutive "seasons" it's weird that he gets his spot back. The competition is much tougher now and just getting a spot back isn't fair to the players who struggled for months in code A/S while Idra was away. Clear enough, or does my home country prevent me from thinking clearly?

While i would love to see Idra and Sen in code S, i think its total bullshit how they just get a by straight there with not even a match needed to be played, am actually pretty disgusted tbh. You have players like Losira, July, Polt etc battling it out in the up and downs, while you have 2 less accomplished(in korea) players not even playing a game just skip right by them, whats the justification for this?

I don't know the case you are talking about, but Idra has been improving his behavior and all the problems he has had. All that shit the "Old Idra" did months ago are pretty much gone. Some situations still occur, but not as much as before. He has worked with his attitude, professionalism and problems he had in game, leaving early and disrespecting people and such. Yes, he does that in online tournaments but i'm mainly talking about offline tournaments here. Naniwa hasn't done literally anything if you look at it. Thats why he is very hard to work with, we've heard it multiple times and the recent "proof" of that was when Complexity sold his contract. I'm not saying it's a great or best invite/replacement or anything, but Idra has improved a lot when it comes to these things. At least he is trying and has succeed with it.

I think gom's logic goes as follows: Idra never lost his Code S spot(technically) Sen actually qualified for Code S back in season 3; however, chose not to attend due to personal reasons. These two actually qualified for code S more than anyone in the lower brackets

First, Naniwa loses his spot because apparently he's guilty of some completely arbitrary definition of "abusive behavior" and now they just randomly decide to give Idra and Sen a spot (most likely because they have large fanbases) over plenty of more deserving players. +1 I really dont understand how people can justify this but again i dont understand how anyone could like Idra.

As much as I like Sen, and kind of like Idra, I really don't feel like this is fair to the other players in the GSL. GOM can come up with whatever reasons they want for why they gave them Code S seeds over someone else, but I'm sure a lot of people feel like they're more deserving of the Code S spot. It just doesn't feel right to me... And in the case of Naniwa, really? He lost his Code S spot for this? First Coca and now Naniwa.. and the reasoning for losing their seed is becoming weaker each time. I wonder who will be next and for what ridiculous reason..

Idra wrote : "dont have meaningless matches if you want players to take them seriously.", so i really don't understand why gom would be giving him a code S spot for so many obvious reasons? When he left korea he did it after choosing his own group, made it turn into a 3-man group showing exactly what gomtv dont want, unproffesionalism. Idra is not even good enough to compete in code S imo, so don't see how this is justifiable... What a shitty day for sc2.. IdrA informed GOMtv that he was leaving before the group picking took place. GOM asked him to still go through the process and then he was allowed to leave. That was anything but "unproffesionalism".

So what is the basis of adding IdrA and Sen to Code S? Placement into Code A is one thing, placement into the Up/Downs even if you want, but putting them directly into Code S? That's an absolute joke. You could make arguments for dozens of other players to get instant Code S instead? Giving out arbitrary Code S spots absolutely slaughters the worth of being called a Code S player.
