well, in the grand finals, mouz is currently up 2-0, but with puma and idra still being in the tournament, eg still has two very scary representatives in the game!

Subtract $50,000 from the EG team total. Puma was a member of TSL when he won NASL season 1, not EG. Therefore those earnings should not count towards EG's earnings.

He never signed a contract with TSL therefore he was never officially on the team.

He just stayed at their house.

You are wrong. Puma was on TSL. The transactions between EG and TSL for Puma was created, and is semi-publicly documented. Refer to Team Liquid's search function to read up on how the acquisition occurred, please, and you will also be able to read the Korean backlash that occurred against EG momentarily, but which was later clarified. Thanks.

Woah somebody is being very passive aggressive here.

Regardless loose contracts might as well not be contracts at all. And the money is Puma's and if hes on team EG it also goes towards their gains. Really not that difficult to understand.

You clearly don't understand how Korean progaming works. They don't revolve around "contracts" as much as American's do. I don't think that's necessarily a good or bad thing, but then with your faulty, immature logic, I can go ahead and say to remove NesTea, MVP, and MC's earnings too, because their contracts should "might as well not be contracts at all"? I guess that means that Quantic Gaming has upwards of $500K+ in earnings (not anymore since they disbanded their partnership), and SK has over $222K+ in earnings from MC, right?! Yeah! Fuck yeah, bro man dog!

And ok. I'll have Native American's be the founders of America, but credit it towards Christopher Columbus, because... he found it afterwards...?!

You make me giggle.

Christopher Columbus founded America? I always thought it was the "founding fathers" that founded the United States of America. Discovering/settling is not founding.
You make me giggle.
Also a partnership is not the same as "being on XYZ team."
But back on track with the thread.....
EG's "total winnings" aren't accurate imo. And possibly Mouz's winnings aren't accurate (not sure when everyone was signed to mouz). But looking at total $$ winnings isn't a definitive basis to measure what team is better.

Edit: Columbus never discovered North America. That honor unofficially belongs to the Native Americans that traversed the land bridge from Sino-Russia.

demuslim is not better then huk what are you thinking lol

Huk has one the shitty plays i have ever seen

We talking about the same Huk?

EGHuk and bad plays shouldn't be in the same sentence.

Why do ppl keep saying EG is getting shit on.

PVP is a coilflip and demuslim didnt even have a computer for a month because of visa problems.

HuK is really damn good. THe issue is that the former WC3 euro's are really good at PvP and hasuobs is one of those.

So HuK lost...

Demuslim against Thorzain was Thorzain's current best match up, and Thorzain is the second best player on Mouz after Mana (or maybe even best) while Demuslim is probably the worst out of the 4 that EG has at NASL...

If it was something like Huk vs Mana, and IdrA vs Thorzain and Puma vs Hasuobs, I think we could have easily seen EG go 3-0. I'm still not sure about morrow and just how good he is though.

Not going to explain to you that you can never really judge MorroW. He can beat anyone if he's prepared. Also HasuObs can and did show that he can beat nearly anyone in any match up. Be it PvT PvZ or PvP

Puma's TvP is the best of any player that actively competes in foreign tournaments, and he only really loses TvPs against Mana.

lol missed the recent Dreamhack? Kinda funny that 3 Mouz players advanced and we're going to have another mouz vs eg in the ro4 btw. hehe

Mouz lineup is less "All-Star like" but still they got way smaller budget than EG, and still they can perform very well

Hmm, I always looked at Mouz as an All-Star kind of team. They have very few players, but nearly all of them are very well respected and seen as one of the best in their respective race in the foreign scene.

I understand what you are saying though, since EG has HuK, IdrA and Puma.

Lol, no wonder you're banned making a troll post like that. Hasu>HuK. Thorzain>Demuslim. Mouz won the EG masters cup TWICE. EG has the money so they bought Puma and HuK. Sure, they're rich. The richest team. But not even close to the best roster. They have Puma, IdrA and HuK. Mousesports have proven over and over again that they're much much better than EG.

Actually, I think Complexity is the richest team, throwing their money around everywhere.

But EG>Mouz. When a player from Mouz wins ANYTHING like several MLGs, an NASL, IPLs, etc, we can talk.

haha mouz won that one hands down. But I like that it never got out of hand, team rivalry is good as long as it's civalized.

In fact, EG has one MLG and two IEMs this Year, won bei HuK, PuMa and IdrA...the other players on EG have had abysmal results.

you know, its hard to support you when IdrA, HuK, PuMa have won NASL 1, IEM Cologne, MLG Orlando, Dreamhack Summer, IEM Guangzhao, and ASUS invite all in the past year. Whereas the only big name tournament I know any mouz player has won in the past year was TSL3 by thorzain.

Honestly though, you speak the truth. Obviously Mouz players are talented but they fail to post results like EG, though I will mention that Puma winning NASL 1 and Huk winning Orlando were both before they joined EG.
