This was seen as match-fixing by the Slayers team, and he is now on the B-team and can't participate in any tournaments.

Edit: Well I guess I am bad at understanding the severity of the situation. A Code A spot is huge :O

It is pretty hostile against these two players. Koreans see it as matchfixing because, 1. This tourney gives one free code A spot to winner, which is everything for Korean progamers 2. Coca already has code S spot. original source http://esports.gomtv.com/gsl/community/view.gom?mbid=1&msgid=23899&p=1 http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=12282624 On November 15 2011 12:51 Namu wrote: Seems like things are escalating. Dr. Chae has responded that they're looking into this problem. He stated that there's no Code A spot for the tournament going on (they have to discuss 2012 stuff with ESV TV), but they do not want to ignore how coca & byun behaved in the game. Seems like they'll get punished in some method.. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/postmessage.php?quote=3710&topic_id=225519 On November 15 2011 13:16 anrimayu wrote: Holy, this is getting serious. Slayers has banned Coca from their team house, as well as entering future tournaments until further notice, and Coca has forfeited code S spot. I wouldn't say "banned" from team house, but he was sent home, demoted to B team, won't attend any tournaments (korean or foreign) until the team deems it appropriate.

This caused shitstorm in Korean forum for match fixing issue, as well as lack of professionalism for cussing. Slayers apologized for causing such scandal, sent Coca to B team, and kicked him out of the teamhouse. He won't be attending any Korean or foreign events until further notice. Coca also forfeited his code S spot. GomTV announced that they're still discussing the code A spot with ESV TV and nothing has been confirmed yet. After further discussion, they will decide what to do with the two players.

One of my favorite players from my favorite team? Gahh! Edit: Now that the initial shock has worn off, I just feel very sad and disappointed. So much potential and talent in Coca, gone, just like a mini-Savior. Today is a dark day.
