Minor update; it is roughly 3:30 in the morning in the Philippines and several individuals involved in running PPSL, including those outside of Team AZK, are still trying to get a hold of Gus.
Team AZK itself seems to have split apart - there are those within the team that have fallen victim to Gus' manipulation and eventual failure.

He not only cheated the community, the players, the tournament, the fans who attended and people like Clive and Amanda who put their trust in him, but he even cheated his own team members. These same team members are now the ones trying to find ways to fix his problem, even if it's through their own pockets.

Is there a donation fund to help yet? Let's try and help this poor women out

He still didn't explain how he mis-managed (Pocketed) The money.

I seriously don't understand why it is so bad to post this Gus guy's information. He has disappeared and has left people on the hook for AT LEAST $13,000. What is wrong with him being a little bit afraid of getting hurt? Or you know, actually getting hurt?

Well, at least we know where the money went. Poor Gus even left his job for eSports! What a saint!

I feel sorry for Gus. I havent followed any of this, but to me it seems like he just messed up but did not have any intentions of scamming anyone. The winners of the tournament have been paid from what we know.
IPL havent sent all sponsorship money (which I guess would be used to pay the 13.000 debt) So I blame IPL more then Gus tbh. The people who didnt get flights there are children crying for nothing IMO. I would have felt sorry for them if they paid for there own flight tickets and hotel room and then didnt get to play, but not getting a flight there even if promised to me is not a big deal. Nothing gained, nothing lost right?
The only thing Gus REALLY fucked up is the HON thing and the debts to the hotel and flights, which I strongly belive IPL is to be held accountable for as they are holding 50% of the agreed money.

I honestly think IPL should be helping these people. They can go get their money back from Gus afterwards (or try to) but this is ultimately the result of them trying to turn this event into something bigger than it should ever have been and putting the wrong people in charge.

Edit: Never mind, misread the post. Although I still disagree with the post. Gus is held more accountable in my opinion since he hasn't even tried to do anything, besides avoiding all the huge questions, posting this thread, and hiding. Especially since he hasn't even payed people or tried to contact them is why he is more at fault. IPL probably sent enough money to help that he stole, and you also have to remember that even without IPL sponsoring, this event probably still would of happened and would of had the same outcome.

IPL has already stated that all payments have gone according to plan.
I am assuming that IPL hasn't sent the money yet as agreed upon, and it just so happen that the wrong people got paid first so this lady is in a bit of a rough spot.
Remember that IPL just said everything is according to schedule, not that they have paid everything out completely.
The difference matters.

We feel like our part in this has been misrepresented and wanted to clarify that our agreement with the PPSL included a schedule for payments which we were up to date on - PPSL was never waiting for money from us.
The wording here doesn't preclude the fact that more payments have yet to be tendered by IPL. Regardless if it is a scheduling error, it is still Gus at the helm. But consider my viewpoint.

Consider that when you're running an event and a payment schedule is agreed upon, as the event coordinator you need to make sure you have the funds available at time time needed in order to run the event properly. I'm sure a contract with signed with IPL, Gus knew how much money he was getting and when, even if there was money still to be sent, this does not excuse what happened.

Note that all along Gus never once made any suggestion that he would purchase something or repay someone as soon as IPL (or any of the sponsors) came through with a payment. He only ever said-- oh don't worry about it, I will take care of the plane tickets/hotel/whatever.... and never contacted anyone again.
If this was the actual case he would have said so, asked for more money upfront from his sponsors to cover tickets, etc, or at the very least mentioned that in his apology.
But... no.
(And if you followed any of this, you would quickly see he's done much more than misspend or misappropriate money. He's a deceitful ass to everyone he comes in contact with.)

Holy fucking shit. You've made quite literally, over 100 posts in these Gus threads accusing him of stuff repetitively, and what other people have accused him for too, and then re-linking everything every 10-20 minutes. Calm it stallion, We read it the first time.

Someone said earlier that they knew his address, and then were dismissed as being way too overboard.
TBH I think people should really start looking into where he lives if hes not picking up his phone or responding to any messages.

You REALLY think that after his address and number etc has been posted 10+ times in this thread, that the people that are seriously involved with this situation don't have it?
Come on man, seriously, my head hurts now.

We aren't thugs. If Gus is responsible then he should be made to answer for his alleged fraud/crime/w.e. through the legal system. Do you honestly expect TL not to delete information that could cause physical harm to this individual?

Theres plenty of stuff wrong with him actually being hurt, oh I don't know, like him never paying people back. You have an amazing organ between your ears, use it.

Yes I already stated that -.-
But people are saying IPL already sent everything when that might not necessarily be true. Maybe it doesn't change the endpoint, but it is an important thing to consider when thinking about Amanda.
