Well he tried to Bribe Moon Glade to take YJY's Spot when YJY had rightfully earned the Spot to come to the PPSL Tournament; so i'm not sure how u can give Gus the Benefit of the Doubt.
It's already been proven and Confirmed the guys a Con-Artist.

Sorry I'm just bothered by your last post, Philippines has the capability to host this kind of events. The infrastructure problems that you are referring to is the result of poor preparation and planning of one clan/team, and right now unsung heroes are out there in that tournament are trying to make it happen. Please do not include the entire country because of one clan/team's fault.

The worst part is this guy thought he would get away with this? I mean yea he got a couple grand but he and his team are basically going to be blacklisted from everything.
Doesn't seem like a smart move at any point along the line.

You don't know that for sure yet. The Brackets were apparently switched i wouldn't be surprised they were Switched in AZK's Favour.
Because they are also known Cheaters(Gus Purportedly Cheats) in Tournaments Check my Post.

The Philippines is quite capable of running an event of this sorts. Check out the Pinoy Gaming Festival by Mineski last week, it went smoothly.

There are too many scumbags from too many corners of the world who will do this kind of shit over and over and over. The prize-money involved, a majority of the time, is these players livelihood as pro-gamers. I understand that it's IPL's money that this guy has run off with, but there needs to be a governing body for StarCraft players to ensure this doesn't happen.
Surely with a community as large as ours we have some lawyers or legal-minded people who can shed some light on the implications of stupid shit such as this. Just call UltraDavid, he'll get it done :D

And what would be the reason for them to all of a sudden re-arrange the Brackets you suppose....??????

exactly, even tons of Dota events, Ragnarok tournaments, Counter Strike tournaments. It's all because of poor management and planning of some selfish dudes.

I did read it it doesn't state the Reason they Re-Arranged the Brackets for. http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?p=44725#post44725
You should probably read DOX's Reply right after TARossi's post.
That's so bizarre... I wonder why they didn't just leave them alone the first time! They were perfectly fair! I'll update my post to clarify then - thank you for the insight!
Like i Said why didn't they just leave the Brackets in the Original State; I believe it was because AZK match Fixed. Or just took the Luck of the Draw. But still
Why were the Brackets Re-Arranged.

I don't mean to be rude about about this post.
I am from the Phils. I have an ISP connection of 1.5mpbs, but you know what my upload speed is maxed? 200kbps. To run the event as a televised/recorded/VOD event is feasible. That is granted, but how to we compensate for the streams really? especially those that want to view quality streams at 720p or 1080p? I quite frankly believe this is very difficult for PH internet.
Case in point, we have DVR CCTV cameras here. If we had the proper internet infrastructure, it should be fairly easy to view the contents of the DVR or the real time videos without log at 24fps or 30fps. But sadly that is not the case, even with a dedicated business line. If this can't be done, how are we supposed to support the streaming capabilities or needs?
Please note that most of these DVR CCTV Cams record at just 480p or "VCD" quality and it is still proving difficult.
I am not questioning the capabilities of Filipinos to run the event, but when it comes to making it international through the web, it's a whole different matter.
And the best example is PLDT. It is the largest TELCO here is the philippines and it also operates the largest mobile network service provide SMART. It provides for wired and wireless internet service but is it consistent? consistent enough to host a high profile event of the caliber that is expected of us?
How was the stream for the WCG by Mineski? Stream quality? I wasn't able to watch it.

Well, CS, DOTA and Ragnarok have a means where you don't need to connect online in order to play and therefore, the burden to show/broadcast them from just 1 spectator/server PC is quite feasible as you just need to give 1 PC internet connectivity, unlike SC2 which requires all PCs to have internet functionality and connectivity to play SC2.

"wrong, brackets were auto generated by someone at the scene who didnt know what was going on. Brackets were then pulled out of a hat randomly for fairness." Tarossi's post on this thread: http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?s=f5cfa2b439d71084244bd59f7cdfcb85&t=2699&page=5
First off, how is auto-generating a bracket not fair? The programs used to generate brackets are IDENTICAL to pulling names out of a hat. The only reason to redo it is because someone didn't like the results of the first one.
Second, what does pulled names out of a hat mean? Who pulled the names? Who was there to see the names get pulled? If you wanted to make the bracket "fair", why not just computer generate it again? Maybe it's because you can't control the results of a computer generated bracket?
Third, the 4 AZK members ended up perfectly spread out in the 4 different brackets. Can someone tell me the odds of that happening? Zero overlap? Does that seem extremely unlikely in a random drawing to anyone else?

Dude streaming is not a problem, there are tons of tools available. Have you been on Philippine H2H? every weekends? sometimes folks does live stream of that H2H with no problem. You don't need fancy equipment or super fast internet connection speed to run an event all you need is a good management, plan, coordination and a unselfish team who are dedicated with the game.

SaSe, Rossi and various other players at the venue have said that they're not sure when they're playing and stuff. Rossi, a player not associated with AZK in anyway, testifies to actually seeing the draw happen in person.
Not everything is a match fix.
