Would also be fun to see how many of them stayed with their races given that mechanics are so different in SC2 compared to BW that you don't really gain that much from keeping to the same race.
do you think pros like jaedong, flash really going to dominate current pros? Because everyone was talking the same when boxer, july, nada switched but they are pretty much on the same level as everyone else now.
I'm looking through korea ladder ranks to maybe find some hint of bw gamers playing. All speculation but it's fun for me. There's a hyvaa, movie, and midas on ladder that started in lower leagues and got into masters. hyvaa is stx and movie is cj

You were fine with your first statement, but then you just had to keep going.
The only way NesTea, MC, and MVP have been "stomped" is in terms of accomplishments in their respective games, which makes sense when you consider that SC2 has only been out for a year; they've not had nearly the same amount of time to accomplish in SC2 what the BW gods/demigods have accomplished in BW.
Saying that Jaedong & co. have stomped NesTea, MC, and MVP is about as empty a statement as saying that Moon/Grubby & co. have stomped NesTea, MC, and MVP.
What the whole teams are playing? Shit I didn't think a lot of players were actually playing on A teams and stuff. The confusing thing to me is do they plan on playing both sc2 proleague and bw proleague? Are they going to have 1 side keep playing bw 1 side go to sc2? Interesting did not expect this at all and not sure how I feel about it considering bw is fun to watch still... Guess it'll be epic either way

For those discussing the APM vs meaningful APM such a measure was devised for broodwar called EAPM that factored out the spam. Most of the BW players that were considered fast and great multitaskers generally had between 300-400 APM, and about 200-250 EAPM depending on the game.
Needless to say, Bisu is no Vibe, and as you can see from the video Bisu is not doing very much spamming at all, it really is 80-90% meaningful clicks.
Wow thats fucking amazing. I don't think any current SC2 player can multitask that well even with the easier mechanics, less maybe MVP.
Also note how low his money is on 4 bases while he's keeping track of every Corsair and Shuttle on several places on the map (barely losing any).

The difference is that Boxer, Nada, and July were far past their prime. (that's why they switched)
Flash is in his prime, Jaedong is probably past his but he's still at the top of the game alongside Flash. Boxer, Nada, and July weren't even good enough to be sent out in proleague regularly when they last played BW, except for Nada, and that was more a testament to how bad WeMade was than how good Nada was.

be patient, july will win something big next july as is his custom
Plenty of teams have multiple divisions, so if MBCGame has a BroodWar team and a SC2 team thats awesome. Hell I'd love for people like GomTV or MBC to air both games for their tournaments.
Watching the broodwar proscene was amazing, and I still have fonder memories and stronger connections than I have formed yet watching professional SC2.
That being said I'm also excited, and I'm hoping that this wealth of talent moving over will allow me to start witnessing amazing SC2 and start to form the same strength of connections as I did with Broodwar.
