Is it really true that these pros are indeed being *forced* to play? If that's the case I'd rather they recruit other talent or existing teams for participation in PL.
Otherwise if these anonymous players were all willing to make the switch, then... welcome aboard! These are exciting times indeed.

Remember the posts about Flash destroying Brood War? So now rumor is he might be playing some SC2. Well played kespa...

Vultures now have splash damage and also buildings float faster.

Can't wait for all the bisu fanboys to come to sc2

I would not want to see the crazy nonsense that could be idra vs bisu.
Edit:Damn I posted a new post instead of editing the previous one.

Bisu: Well obviously, my dream is to win an OSL title. You can probably tell how much an OSL title would mean to me. (laughs)
There you have it. He's never going to stop playing BW until he wins an OSL, and since I know everyone on TL likes make jokes at his expense regarding how that'll never happen, he'll never switch. Simple logic ^^

e. I'm betting that the team that already started practicing is either KT or SKT. Saying the poll indicates people don't want SC2 is weird to me. It was literally a 50/50 split which is actually pretty impressive. Think back even 8 months: I guarantee you that poll would have been lucky to get 25% in favour of SC2. If you look at it that way, not picking up Star2 would be a really stupid move; it's on the rise in a very big way.
Personally I just really hope BW and SC2 can coexist. I really like watching the occasional proleague game or individual league finals. At the same time, like many others, SC2 is just my game - I understand it better, I can watch it when I want (live) and I know much more about the players.
Thing is, if I could watch Slayers v SKT in SC2 and then CJ v KT in BW, I absolutely fucking would. Even with 0 foreigner support that would be amazing. The two games existing side-by-side would just be really sweet - especially if it brought more talent into the SC2 scene.

I am waiting for this moment where big sc1 team switch over to see if they can dominate sc2 too

you guys seriously temp banned someone for this comment? disgusting.
Anyways im curious to see how SCBW players will stack up in about 6-8 months. I'm guessing they are or have been practicing behind the scenes to make a strong debut.

Lol you can't compare Tyler to korean progamers. Tyler's RTS skills is not even close to the A and B-teamers in BW right now. And the hockey part don't make sense since they are 2 different sports. BW and SC2 are still RTS games and these guys are the best gamers in the world with a talent for RTS and Starcraft and everything that comes along with the competitive aspect of it. If they enjoy sc2, and put their hearts into it 100% I can guarantee you that they will not just be "good", they will be the top tier.

SC2 has the potential to become even larger than BW is Korea. I know it is great but we must let it go. The impact of so many new teams to SC2 pro sense will create so only good things. More tournaments, more sponsors and more nail biting moments we fans can enjoy and smile days after. Its dubious. League of Legends is far bigger than SC2, would you dump SC2 for it just as easily? Just going for the new toy regardless of merits of the classic option? Cmon man

Oh, and the inherent nature of StarCraft 2 will make foreigners slightly competitive with these teams. I won't go any further with that.

the fact that you are willing to defend that statement is mind boggling.

As far as I see his statement was kind of insulting to BW fans.
Anyway, on topic, I'm going to take a positive attitude and hope that BW and SC2 can live side by side, the popularity of one boosting the other ^_^

Bisu, Flash and Jaedong aren't going to win every SC2 tourney out there. They may be very good SC2 players if they switch, but it's not guaranteed that their skill from BW is going to transfer to SC2.
Just look at Nada and July, they haven't won anything in SC2, yet they were BW legends.
