Cant believe you compared July and Nada to Midas. Midas was no where near of their levels in his prime, even if he would have not been stopped by Savior he would have not been near them.
And yes he is second tier now, just like boxer was when he switched to sc2.

We complain in the hope that someone out there will be listening. I believe that if the game is refined for competitive play to a high degree, viewership will naturally rise as a result. But the priority lies with the GAME. The GAME makes the competition, not vice-versa. If the game is shit, we have the right to say so.
If anyone comes to the BW forums and says BW is shit, he'll be banned. The quality of a game is an opinion not a fact. Don't get me wrong, I'm actually of the opinion BW is the more fun game, but that's my opinion, and I welcome anyone to have a different one. You have no right to state your opinion as a fact and thus piss on things people love.

Stop insulting people for no reason. They were barely A-team when they switched. Midas is struggling now. They were/are second tier compared to the likes of Leta, BaBy, Snow and so on.

It doesnt matter lol. It wont change anything. The transition is going to happen and it is likely to happen as early as HoTS release, maybe even before that. Die Hard BW fans cannot stop with that with their opinions.
So the BW fans wont transition with their players cause they dont like the game? Wow what a loss. It's okay, we only wanted the players in the first place. Hopefully the fan girls follow the BW pros. That's the biggest thing lacking in the SC2 scene. The crowds are 99% guys unlike the BW crowds that can be >50% girls.
Fan girls show up for Marineking and oGsTop.
But the foreign tournys will still be 99% dudes.
Not sure how excited i should be until all these accounts are actually confirmed.

Well, at least soon we do not have to make the theoretical discussion anymore if top BW players would own everything if they switch. We will se what happens and know the answer.

This make me very happy i do not know any of the bw players but the amount of people interested in this is amazing. Does this means that BW is on it's end ? (no heard feeling, JUST asking)

They deserve to make money for delivering an entertaining game. $60 for hundreds/thousands of hours of gameplay? Steal. LAN for SC2 already exists. You can pirate it and play online, and have a better experience than with bnet because of no 200ms forced lag.
Not implementing lan had probably not much to do with piracy, but more with forcing people to use bnet.

Beside, it's actually totally fine to have a 200ms forced lag, as long as it is constant. Introducing a "no lag" LAN would actually make practice really complicated for the pros since you have to get used to it, and there is no way to practice that on ladder.

thats what people who pirate games actually believe (never heard of 200ms forced lag and never had any lag during sc2 games in relation to battle.net, ever)

Their games are not that much better than the competition anymore and their support for the games is questionable. That'll bite them in the ass sooner or later, hopefully. Hes not being subjective. Exclusion of LAN doesn't prevent piracy, that's a fact. People who would use a pirated version that can't connect to Bnet would most likely not pay 60$ for the option to play ladder games. That's just common sense. Not including LAN is not a huge issue there games are quite a bit better than the competition and every gaming company is run by scumbags these days thats why games cost 60$ and you have to register a key code. They deserve to make money for delivering an entertaining game. $60 for hundreds/thousands of hours of gameplay? Steal. Proven? By whom? When? How? The Chinese have pirated the game regardless of the lack of LAN. I also know plenty of people who pirate games, and not a single one of them would buy the game if he was unable to obtain it illegally - he'd simply skip it... And i know lots of people that download all their singleplayer games and only buy the ones that have online authentication to play. None of us have more than subjective experiences that don't really mean much.
Exclusion of LAN doesn't prevent piracy... that's his point.

Like a fotball player, can play great 1 season then the next season they are struggling getting benched and suddenly BAM they are on top again. They just weren't at their peaks when they switched. But NaDa is still legendary and July was still the fucking God of War.

27-27 since 01/01/2009 for July , 2-5 since 2010 18-22 since 01/01/2009 for NaDa, 5-3 since 2010
They were washed up in that they barely played AT ALL, and had a not-so-bad, not-so-good record. Not playing = you're not doing good in in-house rankings. July's last appearing in ProLeague was on 04/05/2009. NaDa still played some times and had some good games. He's always been a beast, just... less.
They weren't considered favorites against A class progamers at that time, and thus, were effectively second tier players. (doesn't mean they were not legends anymore though)

They were amazing in their prime in SC:BW. But they weren't in their prime when they switched to SC2, I don't think this can be argued as it's backed up by their results and how much playtime they got.
Calling them "washed up" is basically just attention grabbing, you'd see the same thing said about veteran players in the NFL who are past their prime, it does not necessarily mean disrespect, but the wording should preferably be chosen better.
