Dude what? The sc1 queen was a pretty bad unit in most situations. The new queen design even looks better

The fact that this is SC2 forum does not mean BW fans shouldn't be here. After all, its about BW progamers switching over. They should care about it, because they are BW fans.
If SC2 fans don't care about BW but love SC2 then they are missing out a ton. And i am not trying to convert anyone. Maybe you could try to see how awesome BW really is as this guy is doing it right now. And i am not upset, i am just sad and on the other hand excited, to see what will BW progamers bring to SC2.
You see, I am not a die hard fan of BW nor SC2. I like both games and i can see how painful it is too see your favourite team switch just like that to the other game, the game that might not be as good as BW. But we will see, time will tell  .

Well I think it's because it's a good news for SC2 players. New pro scene coming to their game, more storylines and everything. It's really good for SC2.
Let's take fanclub threads for example. You can go to Idra's thread and say I hope he wins/ I hope his opponent loses. Going there to say Idra is a rager/bad player/etc is wrong.
Imo there should be BW version of this thread in BW section and maybe then people will stop fighting each other.

Too bad that it seems now that Blizzard will finally allow Kespa to run SC2 tournaments.
Blizzard's refusal to let Kespa do SC2 was what kept SC BW alive and did extreme damage to the SC2 esports scene in Korea.
I would have liked to see Blizzard keep down their own game (incompetence much?) so Kespa could continue with their game SC BW for a bit longer.
Now that Kespa teams start with SC2, SC BW will soon disappear and everything in SC2 will change. You thought you were on the no.1 SC2 team? Well, maybe now you are the no.5 best team.
It's going to take some time for them to catch up. Even more so if the Kespa teams can't recruit current top SC2 players and have to discover a lot of stuff on their own. But once they do they have the talent, the teamwork, the discipline and the infrastructure.
Big question is what will happen to tv ratings once SC BW gets phased out and the novelty of SC2 is over.

Still I find it out of place and just provoking a knee jerk reaction to make sc2 fans defend their game. No one likes their game called bad.
Maybe they are missing out but it's up to them. Many people would say you're missing out on life by just playing PC games. You're not going to quit because of it now, are you?
I know BW. I played BW more than SC2, even though it was a long time ago.

Sure, that's a contentious one, but just think of how BW Queens have been used to demolish mech based TvZ. Just from an entertainment perspective, seeing those queens come in and destry a tank line with lings, ultras and defiler swarming the terran is so much cooler than anything I can think of being done with SC2 queens. That said, creep tumors and transfuse are both pretty cool.

Point 2: This is the Broodwar section. Hence, if anything, this is closer to a BW forum than a SC2 forum. 1+2 = your opening is wrong. Point 3: This is the BW section. People who do not give respect to BW pros don't have a place here. Point 4: People who don't care about BW shouldn't go on a BW section to troll BW fans. I would just like it if the BW fans could not express their pain by posting BW>SC2, SC2 is just a-move, all sc2 units are worse than Bw units, SC2 requires no skill,... .
I am not saying all of the BW fans do this, but in this thread many did this.
I see few people attacking BW, many SC2 fans do not care about BW, but i see much fewer attacking it, except as a response to a posting where somebody attacks SC2. It could be my perspective that leads to this perception, but to me it seems this way.

Dude, what? Personally, I like playing SC2 more (because I'm bad), but BW is still probably a better game for competitive play at the moment. It takes more skill to play well, and is better balanced. BW came first, and is probably always going to have some place on this site, even if SC2 becomes a better competitive game with the expansions.
