If you're having itches due to made up phobias on youtube videos it probably means you need a shower and maybe changing your clothes.
It seems a few people on TL mentioned that they can't bear to watch the Swarm Host. It triggers a fear called "Trypophobia".
So how can these people bear watching a spore crawler shooting and spores/spines as well as about all zerg units burrow and unburrowing? Stuff hatching from eggs/cocoons? Morphing buildings, building animations in general like the spawning pool? Nydus worm? Creep tumors? A lot of small geysirs, holes and other natural formations on maps...
Okay, maybe the line of stuff triggering fear X is thin, but I'm pretty sure there is a fear out there for every single zerg unit in this game and possibly for ever terran and protoss unit as well. If one of 10 million suffers that specific fear, I'm afraid he's out of luck. If they removed everything from the game that caused some kind of phobia there probably wouldn't be a game at all.
I got as far as the wasp/bee (might not even have been a Wasp/bee, just looked enough like one to freak me out).... i have a massive fear (not phobia as my fear is rational lol) of Wasps and Bees as i got stung about 50 times in 30 seconds as a child.

Compared to the Swarm Host, it's more cartoony. Swarm Host design is fine.
Basically this. Human skin diseases and stuff like that is digusting (for me) i.e. worms crawling from small holes in the skin. Or purulent/festering skin. I had no problem with i.e. the frog thingy, or honeycombs.
I personally thought the test was quite bad since it could trigger a lot of different "phobias" (worms, insects, amphibia, ...).
Anyone here scared of death? I think we should take units getting removed and dying animations out because some of us fear death and know even with no death animation that the unit died.
For anyone that watched the video and saw the fingers: It's the mouth of a Lamprey photoshopped onto two fingers. No, that guy did not do something horrible to his fingers to get them to look like that, they're fake. The first time someone showed me that picture it upset me so badly I vomited and seriously contemplated suicide for an hour or two.
To answer your question, no, the art shouldn't be changed. My mom literally can't look at the screen because zerg remind her of little bugs running around and creep literally freaks her out. People like this just shouldn't play games. I seriously doubt itching is going to cause them to lose a game anyway.
I don't have problems with the design. But if there are members of the community who has this phobia, then blizzard should change it to make all players comfortable. I mean overall this change isn't that big a deal for blizzard to implement anyway =\
I wasn't even aware of this phobia until earlier today when my friend linked me to a thing about it and the Swarm Host on Reddit :S. I don't have a problem with the design but it is kinda disgusting, which I suppose is what Zerg is meant to be, but if some people have serious problems just looking at it then I would support changing the design.

Video game phobia. I agree with you if this bugs those people they can go play farmville
lol this topic is ridiculous. maybe blizzard should take the zerg race out of the game so it's more enjoyable for people who suffer from a phobia of insects or something...

I'm sorry but the OP is just bad. Many people would react badly to the video because of the last images. Not because of any phobia but because maggots eating in someones flesh cause a reaction in humans. You can't punch a hole through your arm, show it to your friend and diagnose a phobia of holes because he goes batshit crazy.
If it's unpleasant to watch that video does not mean you have phobia lol. If you really have problem in watching swarm host then go to doctor or don't play sc2.
