This might be the little kid in me, but I always have a hot cup of cocoa and a fuzzy throw to drape around my shoulders at home (during winter in Michigan) that just drapes over my hands. Probably won't help at live tourneys or anything, but good for sure at home.

cold hands have and still is bugging me from time to time :/
Just like you i can have a completely warm body put freezing hands, things i do is wear warm clothes, and when my hands gets really cold i wash them in HOT HOT water, like so hot that it almost hurts for like 1min :p

FYI, if you're in a cold environment, nothing you do will warm your hands up. When your core temperature drops, your body reduces blood flow to your extremities (hands, feet, face) which means that they get cold. The only way to stop your hands from feeling cold is to raise your core body temperature. So put on a sweater and turn on a heater.

I used to suffer from ladder anxiety when I started playing SC2, which back then caused my hands got really cold while playing. I used to take a break after two games in order to warm my hands.

These days I have gotten over with the ladder anxiety, but I still get cold hands from my first 2-3 games. Usually after that I'll warm up my hands and I no longer get cold hands since I am more calm than I was before.

Had the same thing yesterday, I played awful. First I did two sets of 25-30 pushups to get my heart pumping and blood flowing but didn't help. Then I turned on the heater, put on an extra hoodie, bathrobe and quilt so I got really warm. The cold hands were gone the game after.

So my advice is to just put on a lot of layers of clothing so your entire body gets really warm. I believe cold hands isn't something you can fix well by warming the hands. Rather, the entire body is too cold and the hands suffer extra from this.

I get the same damn thing. Even when the rest of me is warm, my hands are always freezing during the winter months. Best solution I've found is to boil a cup of water and keep it on my desk and hold it for a little bit every now and then.

I have cold hands as well. I use a space heater and keep my hands in between my legs when I can. I'm rather emaciated so it's inevitable.

Yeah, certainly. If my feet are cold than my whole body is. I think it is becuase you lose the most amount of body heath through your feet or something?

Even if your body is warm, your hand will still be cold.
Reason: Brain and your down there is cold. So they transfer the heat from your hand to your brain and your below; which make your hand cold.
Counter: turn on heater on. Heavy jacket + Head cover.

I go to the sink after a match, and put icecold water on my hands, the suddenly shift to very hot, and back to cold, then back to hot. Works like a charm long after the treatment. This also goes for your underarms, if you have any symptons of Carpal tunnel. It helps.

I thought it was your head, I find having a sleeping kitty on my desk helps me warm my hands between games via belly rubs :D

I remember some documentary I watched ages ago.

Basically they said that if you can keep your core temperature warm, you don't lose too much hand dexterity even if your hands are cold.

I live in a cold cold place, and I played while freezing. Yesterday I put a heater in my room and put it on super hot. Well bam promoted. No but really, at least I play a lot better when it is warm and cozy in my room. Isn't turning up the heat an alternative? Put lots of clothes on. At least then, it will only be your hands being cold.
