Interactive help for the new to Starcraft 2 and those seeking to learn and go into a higher league

This is a project i'm launching for those who are truly new to Starcraft 2 and up to gold/platinum levels. There are lots of resources out there that are dedicated for learning Starcraft 2 but few that are truly personal interactive with the person being taught. Recently, i've done a few replay analysis videos of gold league players as well as a simple video talking about beginning play as terran. People can watch casts and be entertained with the great play but a trend in the lower leagues is that they dont know how to execute what they need to do.

So, heres the plan. I would like to make videos centered around the basics of each race and how to think about playing as that race. These are centered for the lower level, beginning, bronze, and some silver players. Beyond that, situational videos can be made from replays sent to me by people looking for help. Gold and platinum players should be able to learn more from tutorial videos that showcase builds and reacting. Each one can receive its own youtube video but to ensure the fullest possible amout learned the person who is being critiqued can message me during the critique with questions. I have access to both the NA server and EU server so I can help anybody on either.

About me - I'm tQzander. I am a master league protoss player on the NA server and I random on the EU server as well. I commentate tournaments, clan wars, and professional replays and am in college to become a high school biology teacher. I enjoy teaching and helping people and want to bring that into Starcraft as I truly enjoy Starcraft as well. I have a few videos of myself playing with a first person view taken from my stream where I talk about what I do and how I go about it. Please let me know if there is a specific thing you would like to see and I'll do my best to go get it onto the internet for you

While I appreciate the effort, and while the ones I watched (Terran/Zerg/Protoss, how to play) were interesting and informative, they weren't good for learning from nothing. They seem to take for granted that the person knows how to play in general, or at least have good mechanics. Having taught most of my friends how to play, that is an incredibly inefficient way to instruct.
Let them play around for a bit with units and how to do stuff, and then give them general ideas of what they want, and then the specifics. That at least has been the beneficial way for me to instruct. IDK but they've all jumped a league (those that ladder anyway) since I've helped them out.

The OP stated that this is intended for gold/platinum level players, and for that i feel like the tutorials are perfect.

edit - misread. Yea i guess you're right about the newb thing. >_< I don't think a bronze player would look up tutorials though?

Thanks, you make a good point. The tutorial videos are more gold/platinum while the beginner vidoes were supposed to be for the even lower level players. I'll edit the OP for more specificity.

One thing I always wonder about on these forums is this: how many bronze players read this forum?

Aren't bronze players more casual and most don't ever read TL?

Because that would mean most won't see this post.

Don't underestimate the lurkers, the guys who dont post. A lot of people are drawn to TL through google and just searching for starcraft 2 help.

love the tQ guys Zander, and I actually learned from that PvZ video "thought process..." I never thought that taking the natural of another start location as your fourth implicitly secures a fifth. That was tactical gold right there... Cool stuff man

Thank you for that rather underhanded compliment. But, Day[9] doesn't know everything. Even if we do both talk for hours and you compare it, theres no way that Day9 said everything that I will. Just because i'm doing something similar doesnt mean nobody can gain from it. A clearly separate thing between me and Day9 is that Day9 (odds are) won't see your replay and tlak directly to you about what you can do to become better. I will look at your replay, try to help as best as I can and talk to you continuously about it. So if you have a game that you dont know why you lost or think you did everything right, i'd be happy to help you and I mean that.

I didn't make this clear earlier, so I'm sorry about that

This is amazing. The whole idea of teaching those with less SC2 skill is incredible, but the way you're doing it and going about it is very good. I realize I came across as a huge douche earlier in the thread, so I apologize.
