The 6% of people who voted idra haven't watched a game of starcraft 2 since 2010. I also always find it odd that polls like these never have an 'other' option: you're always going to miss out someone. Regardless i voted Thorzain, but it's a pretty tough vote between several players.

When i read "best foreigner" i think this is a poll about who's the most skilled right now. Therefore it doesn't matter if a player did get good results on some lan events or not and everything that happened longer than 2 months ago shouldn't even be considered.
I think it's hard to tell, because you can't really compare Huk and Sen to the EU guys because they don't play against each other that often. My picks would be:
Huk/Mana for Protoss
Thorzain for Terran
Stephano for Zerg.
Those are the 4 best imo.
The list of players in the poll is fine except i'd replace Idra with Nerchio.
To the complaints about White-Ra: He's really good, but surely not the best. Same with people like Socke (who i'd rate slightly above Ra atm), he's extremely solid, but not quite on the top.

well, he might be korean and i concider him as korean, but hes still a foreigner! just cause his whole sc2 carrier from beta on took place in the USA. thats why hes in the list and thats why i put the USA flag for him.
So why did you not put a chinese flag on SaSe then? As he has been playing most of his career from China (4 years). Also, Huk has played almost all his SC2 career from Korea, he just played a few months in NA.
Just give it a rest, Select is Korean.

Make 10-12 players by race/region/alphabet/whatever and then do the top 8 or something like that in a poll!

I voted Mana, not just from sympathy. When he play 100% he cannot be beaten. Couple days ago he just crushed Stephano 2-0.

So, this thread is pretty stupid. Like half of these types of threads they degenerate into "LOL IDAR IS BEST" and "LOL NO EVEN RANDOM ZERG WHO'S WON SOME TURNMENT RECENTLY IS BETTER".
SEn is easily the best foreigner right now and has been for a long time. If he spent time in GSL he'd be a regular top 8 in a heartbeat. He's better than both Leenock, July and Zenio. Also, Kas is really overrated.

funny thing is, since Koreans have started to be invited to foreign tournaments and dominate them so clearly, it is nearly impossible to assess who might be the best foreigner.
In any case, none of the guys you placed on that list isn't way ahead of everyone else. So I believe the position of best foreigner is still up for grabs.

He's the only one in Code S. He plays against the best daily.

Thorzain is without a doubt the best foreign terran. For protoss, it's debatable between HuK and Nani, but I'm giving it to HuK because of the fact that he's consistently stayed in code S (and has even reached Ro8). For zerg, I think Sen is the best. Overall, Thorzain is the best foreigner.

ThorZain is by far the best foreigner and has always been since TSL3.
Race by race it's ThorZain, Huk (SaSe soon :D) and SEn / Stephano / Dimaga / Ret

I don't know that HuK is the best foreigner. I mean yes he's been in Code S for 4 seasons (and he will be in Code S next season) but you have to look at the players he beat. He never beat a favorite contender for the championship.
