Stephano is really talented and may potentially be a very good player, but to call him the best is like saying that Cliiiiiiiide is the best player in the world.

We need a sc2-power rank. Actually we need two, one for koreans and one for foreigners. It doesn't have to be the final-say-end-all-discussion type of power rank. Just a place for people to keep up with the scene, follow trends and discuss up and coming players etc.

Hasu recently won over Stephano,Thorzain and Seth (And those are even the better ones in the list). For Darkforce just watch this http://playoffs.cevo.com/view/bracket.php?id=1417. Coud go on, but i think they're pretty easily better than players like Kas rofl.

You have to consistently be the favourite to win tournaments and you actually have to win them. Just winning a few games at a qualifier vs Koreans with a unique style does not make you the best of NA and EU. Destiny has taken games off Koreans as well, doesn't mean he is one of the best foreigners. I dont know what planet you are on but TSLClide is the best player in the world, its just that he has had bad luck. He only loses because the opposing team unscrews the bolts in his chair, making him fall over whenever he plays.

They have had very little success vs koreans, Hasu is very good but he doesn't have a marquee tournament win or a very high win rate vs koreans. Most of the players you listed are probably better than kas but I never considered him close to "the best" either so I don't know why you're bringing up kas. Darkforce is very good also, but isn't the most consistent of players either to be fair, some times he plays out of his mind and other times he falls flat.

And like 95% in this list had little to no success vs koreans in the past month. edit: I mentioned kas as an example of a weaker player in this list of the op. I could have also taken idra or whoever.

But we're discussing the other 5% (more like 2% but w/e). I edited my post. Online tournaments vs koreans hold a little less water than LANS due to the latency, but I don't discount them entirely. edit: He had a 3-0 vs someone I've never heard of, a walkover vs Ret and beat ace and then lost 0-3 to MMA? Beating ace now puts you in discussion of best foreigner?

But no Sheth?.. I mean come on. Why the fuck have you got Stephano on there when Sheth isn't? It just racks my brain. I'm sorry but doing well on the EU ladder and owning some Koreans, all online, doesn't mean jack shit. Only lans should be counted in terms of owning Koreans or we'll get Destiny Fanboys in here saying Destiny owned Bomber in the GSPA. Sheth owned his fair share of Koreans in the GSL alone to warrant a place over the little kid, Stephano.

Socke underrated as always. But in my opinion you can't say "best foreigner", it always depends on matchups, etc. A better poll would be who are top 5 foreigners or top 10.

He seems to be slumping a little now though, hopefully he can get back on track and show us some more amazing games and unit control.
