Can't we just agree that Stephano is a great player with potential? Who cares what exact label we put on it. He's an excellent player that hasn't participated in many offline events yet. Is it that hard to agree on?

Would you imagine a Dreamhack stream in Swedish and not in English? Come on Stephano, don't fall for this. Join a big, international team, or at least push Millenium to internationalize itself. This is bullshit, Stephano is going to IPL, MLG, he will try to qualify for NASL and he said today that Korea is maybe not that far.
Millenium is a european powergaming, there is no point for them to focus only in France. Yeah, Lwl, the mannager has probably the secret hope to see e-sport grow in France (and this is a good thing for e-sport in overall, you can't base e-sport on only 5/6 states) but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about international. He has a lot of experience (remember wc3) and he probably knows better than you what he has to do.

Why does he need to? If he wants to stay and they are sending him to international tournaments what difference does it make if he players for a relatively unknown team? All this "for the betterment of ESPORTS" talk is actually getting quite stupid, but a counterargument to yours goes like... by stephano winning for this low level team, if the sponsors see how much publicity he gets for them they might be inclined to expand the team, this means more players are sponsored and able to go to events, overall growing the scene not only by more pro gamers receiving funding, but having more players from all over the world representing SC2 and ESPORTS.
Strike everything about them being a "low level" team. I had never assumed MYM meant Millennium. That being said the rest still stands.

Happy's winstreak was a lot less deserving simply because he played terran and quiet frankly it's almost expected.
Also http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-international/players/1996_Stephano. He didn't go to much lans, but out of 4 that i can recall of the top of my head he won 2, placed 3rd at assembly and lost to MC at homestory.

They are building a long-wanted bridge between the French community and the rest of the SC2 world and are doing an awesome job. When I said "little to no coverage", I meant "LR thread". Obviously, since the stream was in French, most TL readers didn't see an interest in watching the game.
Sorry if I've been unclear (langage once again ), but I do have the utmost respect for any person giving his time for the community.
About my comment on Stephano, it was quite poorly worded I must admit, since I was only expressing my personal view on the subject. But after all, Stephano knows what is best for him, and I hope that his decision to stay with Millenium will have the best possible outcome for him .

It's not really 'expected' to get a 93% w.r. when the second best w.r in EU was like 10% lower. I guess that is not deserving because we don't have a bunch of pushy groupies writing all over TL about how great Happy is.

What do you mean okay? he's been on top of the US ladder all season more or less, and he's been top20 EU all season aswell, now beeing #1 on both, with over a 83% winratio.
