Mass lings on ladder have another bonus, you win by lagging 20% of the people there. (higher in lower leagues lower in higher ones xD). But mass ling also got better since terrans forgot about the +2 armor.I am not to serious here, lings are bad uncontrolled, but with a good control they are evil (and still a bit below marine control, but thats the melee unit bonus.) | ||

I haven't played SC2 for ages but cracklings in BW were far scarier than the upgraded lings in SC2. Having said that, I've always felt that counter-attacking with lings, which was a fantastic diversionary tactic in BW, wasn't explored enough in SC2, especially with sufficient micro to make it worth it. | ||
