Stephano now has 0 chance of every moving to a team outside of france. ggnore And i can say that i'll enjoy his play just as much as i did before. And i'll probably watch his stream more often as i found it in this thread. Indifferent on mill/complexity. Also i'm pretty sure he'll get other offers in the future as he's still young and a team manager would be stupid to hold that to someone when there's sponsors and money to be made.
Who's going to sign Stephano when the teams would be afraid he can back out on the contract at any point after 30 days?

The recent information (about a "not real" contract) leads me to believe that this was indeed the case which Carmac referred to in his tweet.

all this recent controversy over contracting players is getting old very quickly.

Ehm ... The logical step is to have every tournament organizer that respects this scene to ban Stephano and Millenium from their tournaments. I doubt if coL takes this to the court it will have an effect, aside from news flashes about "stealing french kids with big money" somewhere in the CNN.

that doesn't necessarily make it illegal however, it still carries wait if he agreed to it. They same way verbal contracts can be upheld in court

On Millenium's stream, the manager is an embarassment. He doesn't even make an official statement et tries to have Q&A with his streams, in which he seems extremely closed. He just wants to bash Col, from my point of view. He actually makes me angry, I think i'll stop posting here or else I may say things later on that could get me banned.

So maybe the focus should be on if someone understands the offer and accepts the offer and then signs the contract, that is probably a tad bit more important than if some clause that is necessary for a French contract is missing.
The intention of a contract is for an offer and acceptance as well as all that is required of both parties and I can safely say that our contract spells all of that out very clearly. There is no doubt that he was getting what he asked for and he should have had no doubt what he was asked for in return. I spoke to him for weeks and answered all questions. So sure we could all spend our lives focusing on something that is not worded correctly or something that is "missing" because I can assure you there is probably not a "perfect" contract out there. The more important issue is did he know what he was being asked to do and did he know what he was receiving in return and did he subsequently sign the contract and agree to the terms as they were? And the answer in this case is absolutely.
I don't understand how this boils down to Jason Bass saying "it wasn't a real contract".
Sounds like you're putting words in his mouth.

youre right, that is huge. i wonder what informal piece of paper they made him sign. Maybe they wanted to contract him in person, regardless, this means that the thread started by col yesterday regarding them signing stephano was premature.

Stephano just said 3-4 days ago : "I stay in the Millenium Team". They (coL) are talking about a "counter-offer". The counter offer was at 4AM, french hour. This contract has no legal value in France.

if you turn your back on contracts like it was nothing, and ignore the team /not talk to them, it makes you too unpredictable and thus a liability.

+ Show Spoiler +Hm, every publicity is good publicity I guess. Nice move from 2 strategy expert teams, nothing less to be expected than this nice "fake" drama.
Imo, santa does not exist.

Edit: Well, it depends how you interpret the last sentence of the first paragraph. I guess I should have said it was a real contract but not a real French contract. You can't just blow it off like "Oh, well this is way more important than some clause only applicable to French law." That's hugely important to a legitimate contract.

So if I sign a contract to loan money at 4am in France, I can just keep the money since the contract is invalid? Sure dude.
Nice 2 posts.

Stuff like this makes me want to go full rage mode and just say what i think. But as i am a nice person i wont.
I'll just say that there's still very little real evidence in either direction so banning anyone would not be logical in the slightest.
