I guess with the Lockout he has more time to play sc2, I hope he does well (he will not win, but I hope he will have good matchs).

But yeah its huge to get a NBA player to come to these events. Athletes are super competitive so I bet he starts asking a million questions after he loses out to get better.

Of course, I could be totally wrong and those could just be 3 or 4 of the most negative commenters. I just can't see a reason it would be different for other people.

It is only 3 or 4 people, but it doesn't seem like it legitimizes e-sports at all, unfortunately. It's great that he is into it, but I don't think his fans will watch the IPL or SC2 now. He might just gain SC2 fans, but I don't think too many basketball fans will come check this out. Of course, I could be totally wrong and those could just be 3 or 4 of the most negative commenters. I just can't see a reason it would be different for other people. Just because someone scoffs at it doesn't mean he won't tune in. Of course he'll use the excuse of "I'm just watching it to make fun of it", but in the end he'll still be watching one of the best SC2 tournaments in the world, and that's what's important.

I hope thats the case. ^_^ EDIT: It just seems a little more difficult seeing as it won't be on TV but will be online. It takes a little bit more effort to find than a TV channel. I do hope I am wrong though.
