Made a cool grand off of him, which is more than his total tourney winnings ![]() Trying to transition my team into something younger and more sustainable. When I started, I didn't know what I was doing so I focused mostly on ex-BW & WC3 players. Seemed like a good idea at the time but it really doesn't leave you with much of a transition plan... edit: Wow, crying has won out. To help noobs get "decent" players we now must blindly buy free agents. Holy crap, this is awesome. I had about 10 bids in for low-stats, extremely high dedication players. Of course, they're going to lose all their free agent tourneys so no one will want them. I will now have an awesome stable of up-and-comers! Long term prospects are lookin' good for my team now...

High ranked teams don't care about uncertainty, they can afford the salary, it's not a big deal to them. It's for lower tiered players who can't afford to discover they picked up a kid that lucked his way to the finals. You were not always competing against rich teams under the old system because auction timers were short. Now they are 24 hours you are effectively bidding against everyone rather than a small percentage of players. You can already see the bids made by other players, at least I can. Auction length was always 24 hours for FAs.

True but there was no way of searching for free agents without browsing through massive lists of crap players and all the great players who were easily noticeable were only there for a maximum of twenty minutes. Now the best are at the top of the list for a full 24 hours. You can't miss them.

Secondly, free agents bidding now might help to get players cheaper, but now you just have to randomly bid on players without knowing their stats. I wouldn't really want to bid on players with 1 creativity. Everything is just made so much harder for new teams. Can't even get those right jobbers to help your team with the practise without bidding randomly to dozens of players. Thirdly, server still lags a bit. Beginning of the season is definitely best and most exiting part of this game.

Few weeks and there will be hundred. I mean sc2managers end game seems kinda retarded. Maxed out players battling against each others and hoping to get lucky. Achieving a perfect 10 in a stat should be a career long endeavour (or close to one). That way there'd actually be real thought processes behind picking which stats to work instead of just doing everything. It would also increase the value of ex wc3/bw pros as they'd have a stat down pat already and would be free to work on other stats. As it stands now their speciality stats are achievable in 2-3 in game months in exchange for them being years older so theres no reason whatsoever to pick one over a younger player. The strategy system also needs to be reworked. I don't know what they could do but anything is better than the current slider for every 30 seconds of the game system .

Yeah, he's pretty good, except I couldn't shake the feeling that he'd retire on me in the next day or 2. You'll make some decent cash. EDIT: In the last two ticks, one of my high dedication youngsters went up by 3.8 points in multitasking. Man he's training up quick.

Q: What the hell is training? Training is the main way to gain stats. Training is automatically done 4 times a day, so the stats from practice will change every 6 hours, at 00:15, 06:15, 12:15, and 18:15 server time. The numbers next to the stats show change in the last whole day / last 4 ticks Stats gained in training are dependent on: the training focuses specified on the player's page- primary, secondary and tertiary. There is no difference in the stat gain for these focuses, and they do stack. What also helps is a practice partner with good teamwork and high specific skills, as well as a team captain with high leadership. So what you want to do is give players a practice partner with high skills in what you want to train. It's in the FAQ :D

It seems like it is not as easy as i thought to poach a player. My star player has "earned" 80k in the last two hours by threatening lawsuits, and i don't even have a lawyer. ![]()

Do you get all of the money or just a percentage of the poached amount? And that 80k is all from poaching? :O
