I'd say the majority of the people advertising those players are the owners themselves, who have realized they overpaid on a player and are now trying to pawn him off to someone else and make some decent money in the process. Best to get someone young with high dedication and train your own gosu at this point.

Anyone knows the real importance of the scouting stat ?

Would an average player (with important stats around 5-6) suddenly become much better if his scouting goes to...let's say from 2 to 6-7 ?

Anyone tested something like that ?

Any perticular advice for strategies? I've been messing around with a few now (nearly level 3) but my players have gone in to super slump recently and are losing to players with way worse stats. I can only think that it's strategy based ><.

I stated earlier in the thread that it is my opinion that scouting will become just as important, if not more so, to have high scouting than anything else. I've lost so many games because the AI scouted something stupid like 0 army when I was ahead in econ and could have kept building army to win instead of attacking.

Looks like the development of some players is just ridiculous. So many 3000+ ELO Players. In like 1 Month there are 50 maxed players :o

More influx of new players means more low stat players that'll lose so better players get higher ELO faster :p

ok thanks i guess i will train macro/etc first but put scouting too sometimes to get at least 4 ^^ My top 4 players have a scouting between 1.3 and 3.8 -_-

Poaching seems pretty stupid to me. "Hey look at my new talent/ace player he's really winning shit right now" *poached* "oh ..." It feels like such a dumb mechanic in a game like this.

What happens is you offer the player from another team some money to join your team instead. The higher the offer the greater chance of success. Lawyer skill improves likelyhood of successful poach, and on the team you're poaching from, successful defense. The money you bid gets sent to the other team, success or fail. It's a horrible system but unipedal refuses to accept this.
Be warned though, a successful poach will bring about a huge popularity reduction in the player and the team.
You can only poach players from a team the same level as yours.

Seems like the only person that likes the poaching mechanic is the only person that matters. ^^

i just got myself a NA teamhouse. but i am a little confused, are there any benefits to having players in the teamhouse if you don't have any upgrades for it? right now the only difference i can notice is the -1 appearance that comes with NA. just wondering if it's even worth paying the extra costs for each player in the house if it only has a negativ effect unless you upgrade it
