No, those are complete idiots and you see them in the gym for three years benching 135 the entire time. If you bench 405 with a flat back and 445 with an arched back and leg drive during the 445 your chest and tris are still doing the 405 and going to failure either way and the leg drive/lat stimulation/decreased range of motion makes up for the 40 other pounds. It's the same amount of stimulation regardless, if not more due to having more weight placed on the muscles during the negative. Who are you to even say they're even doing it "incorrectly"? Incorrectly by what definition of the word? Because clearly they are going for one rep maxes and Incontrol at least is focused on powerlifting, and that is how every good powerlifter in the world benches (not "correctly" with 135 on the bar and their feet up on the bench). Anyway it's leg day and I'm off to the gym. Continue arguing if you must, while the EG guys continue to do the same thing because Incontrol knows what he's doing.

Do you know what the point of having a small arch in the back while the buttocks and feet are planted during a bench press? Do you know the difference between that, and those who lift their buttocks and end up on their toes?

Body fat doesn't really "support" muscles but I didn't mean it as an insult anyways. Was just pointing out that just because someone has a lot of muscle mass doesn't mean they're not fat. Clearly iNcontroL is quite strong though.

Nothing like a weightlifting video to bring out the anonymous internet experts who spout their pseudo expertise though. The house looks awesome, (if a bit dark when you were playing o.O) and I liked the not-so-subtle monster drink placement. Dunno how you guys can drink that stuff....it's gross! Thanks for sharing the videos.

That coupled with rigid Korean culture doesn't really lead to guys like them showing their emotions very well. I've read that PuMa is known for being very nervous at events, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's just a little more introverted that the average progamer. The EG guys seem like a pretty tight group of friends though, I'm hoping they can get PuMa to open up.

Benching is about your chest and now how much total weight your body can put up...
