Because we all know how much money those Korean teams have.. Im guessing if fnatic wasnt willing to offer fenix the deal he wanted then the Korean teams probably wont even be in able to, let alone willing. Also I dont get all the people now "losing respect" for fnatic. Its not like they fired a guy from the factory and he cant support his 5 crippled children and blind mother anymore. They couldnt agree on a deal, fenix obviously imagines he's going to get a better deal somewhere else anyway or he'd settle for less so he's not going to be overly upset. Both player and team seem happy with this so why arnt some people here?
I think the reason people are upset has more to do with how Fnatic's PR team handled this news.

somebody should update the op, the link does not work for me due to the missing "www,"
Anyways, Fenix is one of the more dedicated progamers we have up to date, outside of Korea. It would be a shame if he couldn't find a new team.

I think that everyone saying just Liquid/EG/FXO are missing some things.
Complexity are packing Drewbie off to Korea after their deal with MvP.
Liquid seems to like big community figures, and I can't see Fenix filling that overly outward position, but I could be completely wrong on that point. I just haven't seen that much personality buzz around him.
Dignitas maybe since he is right now with Naniwa, but I remember reading somewhere that their SC2 roster was full OWTTE.

He will prolly play on a korean team

I got the gist of that post in espanol right there. 6 weeks of beginner spanish ftw!
I hope he gets himself a new team or whatever. He put in a real impressive performance or 2 in GSTL the other day IIRC.

I don't understand fnatic's statement,, specifically the "doesn't help us to strive towards being the best".
Especially when Fenix is in Korea and improving a lot, and is probably the second best player in the team. With players like TT1 (no offence) then that statement is just wrong
Other than that GL to Fenix and GL to Fnatic - interested to see who they will pick up

Did they really say that? if so, that's just plain wrong and rude... I don't recall a single team doing that to any player they didn't renew their contract. I hope fnaticMSI change their managers, they both suck at PR and the team's image is the one that suffers the most.

Stay classy fnatic. They will regret their actions after Fenix joins a korean team and does some massive all-killing or pull a Jinro.
You are living in a dream world. No Korean team would EVER take Fenix! In fact, there are only a select few Foreign teams who would think about getting another medicore SC2 player with limited upside.

He's only 18, not 23 like naniwa or 22 like thorzain. 4 years are what you spend in a normal college degree.. he has a tremendous upside imho.

I think StarTale.Fenix or EG.Fenix would be nice
Good luck Fenix, you have great potential in Korea and I loved your games in the GSTL!
|
Seems to me it would be logical for Fenix to join either EG or TL
|
Hope he finds a good team . Will he just come to GSL with a regular shirt next time? xd

Sucks for Fnatic MSI but if it means Fenix joining FXO or some awesome team like that, i'll be happy for him.
