You also have to take into account of booking the venue ahead of time and the fact that you cannot simply change those dates after the paperwork has been signed etc etc your simply giving NASL an easy way out for their excuse. Doesn't mean it's not valid. Resources are limited, deadlines exist and production schedules have to be followed. NASL doesn't have unlimited resources and unlimited time.

It's NASL's tournament and since this is an exceptional situation, they can invite whoever they want.
Thanks for being a total dick to me when I'm just trying to question your methods and make the community aware of how shady you are and how badly you are handling the fact that the entire korean community bailed on you. hahaha, sorry just found that funny.

Thanks man! Of course I'm going to fight back when you baselessly attack not only me, but my organization. I'm very well aware that Bubbles was 1 round away from qualifying... good thing we haven't announced all the players yet.
We have limited spots so we did what we did -- we feel it was a pretty decent job given the situation we were placed in. We're happy with our list of players for Season 2 and we think a majority of the community will be too!
We have very nice plans for qualification for Season 3 and will be announcing them soon!

It definently is stupid that you guys are not redoing the qualifiers for anyone that may of been knocked out by koreans in early rounds. I feel that is the simple argument that is trying to be conveyed. Now you are using this as a way to justify inviting known players over players who are possibly more deserving, but won't get spots due to being lesser known.

what does NASL stand for anyways?

Desrow is really just coming off as a bitter guy who's angry he wasn't invited. I'm not seeing anything shady about the way they're inviting people.

Lol. Desrow providing comic relief in already entertaining situation. vvvTime is more known? Because of the "vvv" in front of his name? I think the community as a whole would be as likely to know Bubbles as Time. They may or may not recognize the "vvv".
Good job Xeris! Keep up the good work.

I think I am rooting for Idra and Kiwikaki this season ^^

He never said Time wasn't invited.
It is likely that Time, Bubbles and Demuslim will all be invited since they all were eliminated the round before qualifying.

Nasl MUST invite both Stephano and Nerchio !! -_-

Ye I would love to see Nerchio

Doesn't really seem shady or illegitimate to me. NASL was put into a difficult situation by the Korean withdrawal and they're making do. And yeah, you do come off as pretty bitter even though your performance doesn't really warrant any consideration.
Maybe you and all these other players you're supposedly looking out for should focus on improving their game so that you can qualify the next time around. It's not like you'll be anywhere but the bottom of your group if they invited you now.
Also, in case you were hoping to get a "fan favorite" invite, complaining like this isn't the way to go about it.

Taking people from the Ro16 (!!!!) of the old qualifier is a huge hit on the quality of this NASL. Most people seem to have forgotten just how badly organized those qualifiers were on the first time:
- 10 days notice - Downsized to Ro128 from an expected participation of 1024 players - Besides the koreans, super weak roster of players: http://binarybeast.com/xSC21106163/participants - Originally, only Ro4 players qualified to the NASL
Achieving a Ro16 place mean they just won three series, avoiding korean players, praying for lag when they had to play one of them, and beating amateurs and bad pros. That's next to nothing. A TL tournament is bigger than that qualifier.
Frankly, an invite only tournament would have seem a better solution than granting places to Moonan, Lowely or Inka.

I think it is great the way NASL is replacing the Korean players. Inviting Softball was an excellent move. I was a bit bummed when the Koreans withdrew, but I am pleased to see NASL solving the issue as quickly as possible and excited for the next batch of player announcement.
Keep up the good work NASL
