Suddently old players along with invites are getting in who didnt even enter tournaments. A qualifer tournament would of been a lot fairer giving a chance for old players who previousley didnt qualify due to poorer performance and also newer players who got nocked out vs the koreans previously. Fair enough saying their league and they can do what they want, which is what 90% of tournaments are like and after wc3(where the same players awlays got invited). I hope sc2 becomes a much fairer game where up and coming players can try and qualify!!! I agree with this, he paid to enter the qualifying tournament of which he was knocked out of by the koreans who then pulled out. NASL then just invited players who they wanted. Doesn't seem fair on players trying to make a name for themselves when the more populars are just prioritised

Also, this tourney needs Goody! Demuslim has a sick ladder record though. I hope he gets an invite.

SEASON 1 was invite SEASON 2 is invite with 7-8players who qualified for it but DON'T WORRY season 3 WILL BE LEGITIMATE and will have qualifiers HOW WONDERFUL ! PS: Don't worry I'm not the only one who is disgusted by how NASL is acting. People are just too busy going to MLG / lazy to bother and whine. When things aren't done right, if you don't complain it will never be fixed. Do you even think before you post? You act like they didn't just have 14 players pull out at the last minute. And you need more than 2 days for a qualifier. They need to notify players that a qualifier would be held with a minimum of a one week notice. Then add the tournament time. Also you are ignoring all the production that must be done for each player in the league. Not to mention everything else nasl has to do before the season starts. They can't afford to delay it any further and if you don't think qualifiers wouldn't delay it almost another two weeks, well then you are really naive. And its funny how you call nasl lazy, shady and are disgusted by them when I've seen threads on tl about how you've screwed over your students for coaching.

Doesn't seem fair on players trying to make a name for themselves when the more populars are just prioritised I kind of agree they deserve a refund if NASL wants to go the route they went with inviting players. He paid for a chance at getting a spot. If the Koreans pulled out, the spots should have went to others within the qualifiers themselves. I mean they did pay for the chance to make it. Just because now invalid players beat them to claim the spots does not mean they don't still deserve that chance. If anything, they could have finished the previous qualifiers by having whoever the now invalid players beat advance in lieu of the Korean who did. (Fictitious example: If DesRow lost to Boxer in Round 1. Instead Desrow would replay the round 2 match against whoever Boxer beat in round 2. And so on.) This would have let them finish the replaying a lot faster and kept the people who qualified from the actual qualifiers.

For the sake of having even a bit of a fair tournament I hope they don't invite him (and ofc all the others who fell out of season 1)

I think Desrow has every right to complain if he paid money and participated in that tournament The prize of that tournament was top 8 = invite. Was he top 8? Does he deserve the prize? I can understand that it is somewhat unfair, because the winners of that tournament aren't coming. But when the winner of a tournament doesn't take his prize, it always goes to somebody who ended second, not the guy who got beaten in an early round by the winner.

I'm not saying he's right or wrong I am saying he has every reason to complain and feel like he got ripped off. Maybe NASL couldn't feasibly rerun the tournament, or open up registrations again. If I were NASL I would probably have opted for the latter since more people would likely register now that they won't get crushed by Koreans
