Lol Em's album is Bad Meets Evil.

Also desrow be quiet, you got a second chance which was a lucky break and you didn't get in there, so you really can't complain. Or at least you shouldn't be, I have no idea why you are.

These aren't really invites =P The only person who was invited really was HuK... everyone else played in the qualifying tournaments or were season 1 players.

yea what about inka ? I don't see him in the qualifiers ? God NASL why can't you do things the right way..

PS: and I don't mean this to be a dick to you inka I just hope NASL will do things the right way for season 3...

Inka played in the open tournament and was one game away from qualifying into season 2. Maybe you should read their articles.

thats not one game away ... =/ NASL being shady like always

I believe initially top 8 of both the open tournament and the qualifiers would qualify for season 2. As you can see in the bracket, inka made it to the round of 16, so he was 1 set or perhaps even 1 literal game away from qualifying.

Of course, later on they changed the rules because they were reducing the player count for season 2 - so only the top 4 were guaranteed spots for season 2 while players 5-8 were put on hold. However, if my memory is correct, after those initial few players declined returning to season 2 (Boxer, Thorzain, Naniwa, etc.) I believe most if not all the players in rank 5-8 were accepted - so inka was literally 1 set and perhaps even 1 game (the bracket doesn't list the score of the of set he played in the round of 16) away from qualifying.

The 2nd qualifier should have been replayed because all the koreans who signed up and knocked out "foreigners" ended up not participating in the league. You could almost say the same for the Open tournament but the koreans wanted to the 16th seed/be in the playoffs it's really disappointing and a qualifier takes 1 or 2 days to host. NASL is just being lazy

Even if it did take 1-2 days to host, it takes upwards of 2 weeks to plan. If your goal is to stay as close to the original schedule as possible with a 2 week delay, you don't have an extra 2 weeks for planning.

The only alternative solution is to deviate from the original schedule, which would make the finals run into holiday time, making it an inconvenience for everybody both financially and time-wise.

it doesn't take 2weeks to plan a qualifier you are crazy.... yes NASL is shady and lazy and is not doing this the right way

I'm glad you know how to run the NASL, desrow. There's so much that goes into running this league that you have no idea about, there's no way we could run a qualifier. Thanks for your expert opinion though.

I think he wants you to use that infinite amount of time and money that you must have.

Yea I heard contacting 20+ people to invite them is a lot harder than hosting a qualifier that takes a day or two, espicially when you're trying to contact chinese players and such..

SEASON 1 was invite SEASON 2 is invite with 7-8players who qualified for it but DON'T WORRY season 3 WILL BE LEGITIMATE and will have qualifiers HOW WONDERFUL !

PS: Don't worry I'm not the only one who is disgusted by how NASL is acting. People are just too busy going to MLG / lazy to bother and whine. When things aren't done right, if you don't complain it will never be fixed.

I'm interested why MC wouldn't be returning even though the mess with the Korea guys. (assuming he got to the lan part) SK would fly him out and MC has a knack when it comes to drawing crowds and just being badass. I thought he enjoyed the fans and being overseas.

Since when has this community ever too lazy to bother and whine?

I'm sure if people had a problem with how the process was being done, there would already be threads about it on TL and Reddit and a shit ton of responses.

You forget it's their league and they do it like they want.. They can have a invite only rule for ever and people will stil watch. They don't have to do qualifiers. Stop being a public whiner, it harms your image. If you want to complain PM xeris..

Are they seriously giving random reasons for the invites? lol...

Maybe you should read their articles.

http://binarybeast.com/xSC21105303

thats not one game away ...

There will be many opportunities to qualify for Season 3 and everyone will get their fair share.

Yes desrow it seems that everyone is lazy. If you want to complain why not just message him?

What is Desrow doing wrong, the was qualifiers before the Koreans entered where good palyers were knocked out in early round agaisnt the very Koreans who have now pulled out. Suddently old players along with invites are getting in who didnt even enter tournaments. A qualifer tournament would of been a lot fairer giving a chance for old players who previousley didnt qualify due to poorer performance and also newer players who got nocked out vs the koreans previously.

Fair enough saying their league and they can do what they want, which is what 90% of tournaments are like and after wc3(where the same players awlays got invited). I hope sc2 becomes a much fairer game where up and coming players can try and qualify!!!

After all that drama the last time? :D
I'm a Demuslim fan but he hasn't really posted results lately, so i guess it would be understandable to not invite him.I still hope he does get a spot though.

Also, this tourney needs Goody!
