As you can see in the bracket, inka made it to the round of 16, so he was 1 set or perhaps even 1 literal game away from qualifying. Of course, later on they changed the rules because they were reducing the player count for season 2 - so only the top 4 were guaranteed spots for season 2 while players 5-8 were put on hold. However, if my memory is correct, after those initial few players declined returning to season 2 (Boxer, Thorzain, Naniwa, etc.) I believe most if not all the players in rank 5-8 were accepted - so inka was literally 1 set and perhaps even 1 game (the bracket doesn't list the score of the of set he played in the round of 16) away from qualifying.
The 2nd qualifier should have been replayed because all the koreans who signed up and knocked out "foreigners" ended up not participating in the league. You could almost say the same for the Open tournament but the koreans wanted to the 16th seed/be in the playoffs it's really disappointing and a qualifier takes 1 or 2 days to host. NASL is just being lazy

Um holy shit.. This is the line up that I hoped season one would have ! I can't wait to see how huk/jinro/hero/tyler and diamaga do. Sweet line up of foreigners so far, very excited.

Funny you call them lazy without knowing everything they are doing.

I for one look forward to seeing how Softball performs on a global stage. Having heard about these league is one thing, but seeing them compete in the global stage should be interesting.
Maybe if he does well enough and they show to be up to the Korean skill level GSL may try to partner with them or something.

im REALLY glad softball and sen are coming. im really hoping that they can represent the tesl well and give it the recognition it deserves as a legitimate league.

Even if it did take 1-2 days to host, it takes upwards of 2 weeks to plan. If your goal is to stay as close to the original schedule as possible with a 2 week delay, you don't have an extra 2 weeks for planning.
The only alternative solution is to deviate from the original schedule, which would make the finals run into holiday time, making it an inconvenience for everybody both financially and time-wise.

I know! Good vs Evil should be someone from EG against Goody, not against someone from Liquid.

So you expect people to sign up, players to actually know about and show up for their matches, casters to be selected and available in the studio for filming, and all editing work to be done, all with less than a 24 hour notice?
That's pretty idealistic.

who says you have to cast qualifiers keep in mind we already paid 10$ to play in a "fraud" qualifier where koreans just bailed out. So many foreigners got knocked by koreans and threw their 10$ away when in reality they would of had a shot. Trust me, the NASL fiasco with the korean was a week and a half ago if not more, they had time to just host a qualifier without having to cast it and it would of been a lot more fair and respectable.

Are there any more being announced? Where is DeMuSliM? I would think being #1 GM on ladder + being in EG would make him a shoein
