Had he won one more game he would be in the top 8 which qualify for season 2.

I hope that NASL invites hayprO. He's one of the most consistent foreigner zergs. I love his macro style of play.

He was one win away from getting as far as Thorzain... And Thorzain qualified but declined, same with a lot of the koreans above him. Did you even look at what you posted?

Isn't it though?
I believe initially top 8 of both the open tournament and the qualifiers would qualify for season 2. As you can see in the bracket, inka made it to the round of 16, so he was 1 set or perhaps even 1 literal game away from qualifying.
Of course, later on they changed the rules because they were reducing the player count for season 2 - so only the top 4 were guaranteed spots for season 2 while players 5-8 were put on hold. However, if my memory is correct, after those initial few players declined returning to season 2 (Boxer, Thorzain, Naniwa, etc.) I believe most if not all the players in rank 5-8 were accepted - so inka was literally 1 set and perhaps even 1 game (the bracket doesn't list the score of the of set he played in the round of 16) away from qualifying.

According to FXOBoSs, sC decided not to participate in NASL long before his health issues arose

Yay, Tyler's back in! Hope to see him perform better this season.

Tyler was on the brink last season in a tough group, deserves another shot.
Dimaga! YES. Not sure what he's been up to since the GSL World Tournament, but it's nice to have all the best foreign zergs under one roof. Should be epic.

If Softball was invited based on his TeSL success, where are these guys?
|
Have they changed the finals format with the open tournament winner being seeded into playoffs?
Given the schedule issues I would bet every one of the koreans who dropped the regular season will play in the open tournament to try and win it all (and probably will).
|
Awesome, Tyler is in S2! Well done NASL, you have gained another season pass.

From what I heard they are on a level above the other players in the league. Somtimes results from one season don't show it correctly since you get lucky with which opponents you meet etc.
