Even if we take Yellow @ the time when he played boxer in the show match, his decision making skill & overall understanding of the game was much better than most NA Master players. Most gold players (at least in NA) only know how to execute the builds they are familiar with, and once the other player does anything to disrupt their build (early harassment) they get lost and don't know what to do for the rest of the game. Yes he may not have known about Baneling speed. But his game sense & understanding of starcraft game mechanics would have him beat any gold player, any time. (I'll bet you Yellow can beat most golds w/o having use of queen's larva ability) I guess you have big yellow fanboy glasses which is reason you cannot think this thing objectively. Pro tip: yellow is below average gold level in skill wise. User was warned for this post

Even if what your saying might make sense to you it's really just you talking out of your ass xd. Damn that shit about the bling speed and reaper was so stupid xD The fact that banelings have a speed upgrade and reapers can't shoot air is something he will have known since day 1 of playing lol.

1: He is a brilliant RTS player and one of the great SC players. That takes BRAINS and PREPARATION and COMMON SENSE. And a hell lot of other things. I'm quiet sure he updated himself on all the new units and their abilities etc. . Man i did that and i'm just a casual noob. 2: He is not a idiot Need i say more lol?!

It helps him getting better faster though but currently his understanding of the game is probably so low that BW background does not make him superior.

He was still a talented and competent player. He would've beat any and all foreign players at that time. (sorry for this cheap shot, but I am quite offended by that statement and this is an easy analogy for the westerns to understand) That shows the level of talent & the level of dedication Boxer and other BW pros can put into SC2. Countless pro gamers were better than boxer, he wasn't what he use to be. 99% of Korean Pro gamers would be foreign pro gamers... whats your point? I never said he wasn't working and as dedicated as other pro gamers, I'm just telling you the results. The results don't lie. I like boxer, I follow him in SC2. There is nothing wrong with peoples time coming and going and being passed by. It it offends you to admit that a legendary player was on the decline and not performing at the highest level as other pro gamers, then be offended. Its the truth. It doesn't make boxer anything lessor.

To put it in perspective, gositerran or sixjaxmajor now played the game in 3 weeks (I think) and made it to the top of the ladder in NA. I seriously can't believe you are arguing that one of the most successful progamers in BW is a gold leaguer. I really can not fathom how ignorant a statement that is. Oh my god..
