Also, if I was a girl and I read this thread I'd not at all feel like ever getting into progaming, as all people seems to comment on is DaSakuras looks. None is mean or anything (they have no reason to be that), but really I hoped that the discussion on a forum about a game, in a thread about a tournament winner, could be about something else than the tournament winners looks. I don't see GSL threads be infested by loads of people talking about how cute Nestea is.

Meanwhile DaSakura doesn't seem to take any offense (one who did probably wouldn't had stayed into gaming so long) I can definitly imagine girls who have a lesser confidence their looks get discouraged by a such response in this thread. If you imagine the thread about you winning a cup being about how you look when you have bad confidence in your looks, you wont really try/train to win something, will you?

When writing this I feel like a huge fucking white knight trying to ruin all the fun when none is really getting offended, but really threads like these dissapoint me greatly. It's like when I'm reading about women soccer on a newspapers internet site, and 50% of the comments are about who on the team is the hottest. Except here it's 70% of the comments. Fuck me but I was expecting better of teamliquid.

Gaming is a guy thing for the most part so it only makes sense we get excited down below when the opposite sex rolls in and actually looks decent. These comments will never stop existing, and we must accept that it will never go away such as porn and trolling on the internet, they will be forever there.
