b. over (6 figures) just means an amount of money larger than 100000, which could include 100001 as well as 7 figures.

Your 'b' argument does not hold. The term 6 figure already covers 100,000 ~ 999,999. If you say 'over 6 figure' you can only mean 1,000,000+. Let's drop this now, ok?

I cant believe how hard it can be for some people to understand that "figure" means digits 0-9.

100 001 or 150 000 do not have any more figures than six.

If something is over (6 figures) then the number is atleast 1 000 000

Logically, yes.
Colloquial, no.

Colloquially "Over 6 figures" means over the lowest number that can be displayed by 6 figures, so over 100'000.
Don't try to apply logic to language and common phrases.

So, please just stop arguing.
HuK probably gets a ton (metric ton or not, your choice) of money and it's good for him. He understands that it's not the best decision in terms of training and friends, but it's a decision for which he had reasons that most people here can not understand because they were never in that situation.

Please man, seriously. This whole thing what you are trying to defend is just purely peoples misconceptions based on uneducational beliefs like i said already.

Over 6 figures never means 100 000+, it means million or more. Unless we are in precision of decimals when 7 figures takes place earlier.

It's not an argument, it's a valid interpretation of the english. In b, "over" does not apply to "6", it applies to the compound phrase "6 figures", so anything over a 6 figure amount (100000) would count. I'm sorry, but you don't get to dictate how English is interpreted.

"6 figure" in itself already means 100 000-999 999

You are just taking things out of your ass right now. You are trying to claim that it is not somekind of english colloquial but it is not.

Because people dont know a shit what they are talking about. If they were educated atleast a bit, there would be no disagreement.

Will be interesting to see how IdrA and HuK handle living in the same house and practicing daily. It would be awesome if IdrA and HuK suddenly decided they would respect each other but I don't really see that happening, at least not to the level that i'd like to see.

haha i like this argument about what "over 6 figures" means and i want to present a new one. Over 6 figures should mean at least 7 figures right? right, but wouldnt you just say "7 figures" if u meant 7 figures?
So i think although it isnt the perfectly correct way of saying it i do indeed think that over 6 figures would mean more than 100.000. If u wanted to say he would earn a million you wouldnt say over 6 figures because it would be much too vague and could mean anything (million, ten million etc.)
case closed, i win
